Hotel Bristol

Although Mrs. Shaw made the booking, the guest's name is Ms. P. Harbour and I have stayed at the Bristol for more than 15 years. As a solo female traveller, the hotel is safe, comfortable, discreet and the staff look after each guest personally. A stylish "old style" hotel with modern facilities.

Cosy room, good restaurant, great location

Great location near to the river and lake. Friendly hotel staff. Beautiful building tastefully furnished, particularly liked the restaurant and bar with its lovely chandeliers. Our room was spotlessly clean and large.

The only criticism I would make that the breakfast was on the expensive side.

Comfortable, russian tv

Staff very helpful and a very comfortable room to look forward to return to. Excellent location between the city and the station. Enjoyable throughout and for us definitely a place to return to.

I liked everything. The room was very good, sauna/spa area very calming, staff is very polite.

The concierge's service was very good giving us good suggestion and advice about our short round trip to Annecy. He is a good pro. The location of the hotel is nice and comfortable for foreigners like us. Breakfast was good but it's a bit higher price for us who prefer simple with lower cost. It's not included in our contract - B excluding B.

Smaller space compared to other ones we stayed in Chamonix, Zermatt or Cotswalds in UK. As it's located town central, it's, to some extent, reasonable, I think.

The location

Excellent location both for train station access and trips to the old city. The lake is practically around the corner and you are so close to the shopping areas. Great and obliging staff, nice atmosphere, very well sized rooms & well equipped! Gym & Spa facility is a great plus! Very good value for money overall.

This is an elegant old world hotel in the centre of Geneva. It is a short walk to the train station, a block from the lake and the bridge to the old town. It gave us easy access for sightseeing and could not have been in a better place for our stay. The staff were very helpful and pleasant reponding to all our questions and requests.

The Hotel Bristol provides a very welcoming environment for a single professional female travelling alone. The ambience was very traditional without compromising on modern facilities. Small things like the harp player at breakfast was a plus.
