The charmingly traditional Hotel Bristol is situated in the center of Geneva facing the quiet Mont Blanc Square, only at a few steps away from the lake and the main train station. Housed in a 19th-century building, the hotel offers a wide range of modern and sophisticated amenities. These include spacious and soundproofed rooms, great conference and banqueting facilities with audiovisual equipment, a piano bar and a fine restaurant offering gourmet and seasonal cuisine. Now for the second year in a row, the Relais Bristol restaurant features in the Gault Millau Guide with 14 out of 20 points. Opened in October 2008, the spa area invites you to fully relax in various saunas, in the jacuzzi, the Hammam and in the relax and color therapy lounge. Access is free for hotel guests. Fitness rooms are available as well and massages can be booked upon request. A free pass for Geneva's public transportation (including airport train) will be given to you upon arrival. This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the hotel bristol and yet again has met all my expectations. The hotel is in the perfect location, the staff are wonderful, the rooms are wonderful and very clean, lovely bathroom, bathrobes, slippers. Wonderful bed and pillows. Will defo stay again on my next visit to Geneva. They also have a lovely spa area, steam and sauna. Perfect.

We have stayed here before. The location is excellent. Beautiful rooms and very clean. Staff very helpful especially in the bar and the porters. Loved the piano man. Did eat at night in the restaurant which was very good but a little expensive. Waiters were on the ball. Taxi drivers complaining that the hotel is too near the railway station and did not make enough out of it. We tipped well to make up for it. Lovely walk if you are agile not if you are OAPs with dodgy hips and knees.

Relaxing department and nice beds, especially the duvets were heaven. Yes, the hotel staff actually managed to act a bit impolite to me as I had forgotten my passport. I all worked out in the end but their tone was not nice.

Very comfortable, with an excellent breakfast buffet (not included in room rate). Having a harpist performing at breakfast was lovely! The area towards the station is sleazy, with beggars and groups of men hanging around. The hotel restaurant is elegant and upmarket, but there is nowhere in the hotel like a coffee shop, or immediately nearby to get a pizza or simple meal.

The Hotel Bristol is an elegant hotel with fine traditional decor. It has a fantastic location steps from the lake, a short walk from town and convenient distance from the train station. At the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Very central, good for shopping and cafes. Very comfortable light and airy. We visit Geneva often, so we have booked this hotel again. Breakfast is very expensive not worth the money. On the two nights we were there, a person working in the breakfast area was rude and off hand. I suggest clients go to a cafe for breakfast. There are many good cafes near the hotel.
