This charmingly traditional hotel situated in the centre of Geneva facing the Mont Blanc Square is only at a few steps away from the lake and the main train station.

Housed in a 19th-century building the hotel offers a wide range of modern and sophisticated amenities. These also include large conference and banqueting facilities with audiovisual equipment, a piano bar and a fine restaurant offering gourmet and seasonal cuisine that already featured in the Gault Millau Swiss guide.

Opened in October 2008, the wellness area invites you to fully relax in various saunas, in the jacuzzi, the Hammam and in the colour therapy lounge. Fitness and cardio rooms are available as well and massages can be booked upon request.

You will get a free pass for the public transport network in Geneva for your entire stay. By train you can get to the airport within 10 minutes. Weekend Specials available from 21 September 2008 to 31 December 2009!

Food & beverage

The à la carte restaurant is well-known for its refined Mediterranean cuisine in an elegant atmosphere. In addition to a varied daily menu and extended business luncheons and dinners, "Le Relais Bristol" offers seasonal promotions with market produce.

Reservations, especially for lunch, are recommended.

The restaurant serves breakfast from 07:00 to 10:00, lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 and dinner from 19:00 to 22:00. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

In the piano bar a variety of drinks and cocktails is available in a relaxing and musical atmosphere.

For the second year in a row, the Relais Bristol features in the Gault Millau Guide (Swiss Edition, 2008-2009) with 14 out of 20 points.

Spacious and tastefully decorated rooms with a blend of modern design and antique furnitures. All rooms feature facilities such as individual air conditioning and internet on TV.

Area information

The Hotel Bristol is situated in the heart of Geneva, a few steps from Lake Geneva, only 10 minutes from the airport by train (free pass to the Geneva Public Transportation issued upon arrival) and 5 minutes' walk from the main train station. It is also a short walk from the museums, the United Nations, the Old Town, the Fountain and the shopping district.

all over the hotel is good,how ever they need to improve there house keeping ,i think in general they are good but when they have full equpancy the servise slow down

yes ,i did not like the floor being wood coverd with carpet ,noice from walking in side the room and near by rooms,on the reviews i can not answer because i did not go through it

Very nice little hotel close to the Lake, shopping district and train station. Well appointed rooms, nice foyer and very polite staff. My room overlooked the street, but the double windows reduced traffic noise completely.

Geneva overall is incredibly expensive, especially for an American traveler. My modest room cost CHF 325 per night, and that didn't include breakfast (CHF 34) or internet connection (CHF 30). Great hotel, but if you're looking for a good value, you probably should look elsewhere. (It may be that a good value with the American dollar in Geneva is impossible right now.)

Staff were friendly & efficient. Emjoyed the harpist at breakfast & pianist in the bar. Information was good. location excellent. The complimentary public transport ticket was great too. even the weather was great.

The good thing was the hotel was upgraded the room without any additional cost to me. The reception and concierge was also helpful. The other good thing was coffee maker was available in the room.

The room was not fully cleaned up every day. The housekeeper was changed towel every day but the floor/carpet was not cleaned.
