Budget Waldhotel Unspunnen  

The view of the Jungfraujoch from our room on the 3rd floor. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and were able to provide us with a lot of information. We had a nice drink at the bar with some of the locals and the breakfast the following morning was sufficient.

The only thing that we did not expect was the noise level from the road just below the hotel - the cars were driving throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper - take earplugs. But then again this is one of the more affordable hotels in Interlaken.

Its easy to find from Interlaken West station (although a bit of climb everyday!), set in beautiful surroundings with nice views of the alps. Rene and Margo are very helpful and informative. For switzerland it is well priced.

Breakfast was very basic

The hotel staff was excellent. They were happy to give advice about day trips and other local information. The hotel bar is frequented by locals and we were lucky enough to be able to hear a singing, yodelling group who were there to socialize on one of the days of our stay. The manager owner's English was absolutely fluent. If you expect a room with a tv, room service, and brand new furniture, forget it. But our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable.. Bathrooms are shared, but we never had a problem getting a shower when needed. the price is very low compared to a lot of area hotels. An English walking club group stayed at the hotel while we were there. Apparently they have used this hotel for over 30 years. A pretty good recommendation! If we come again we will definitely return to this establishment.

We like the hotel very much. It is located in the country, but very quiet and beautiful surroundings. The boss and his wife is also very nice and humane. We recommend it 100%.

A wonderful view of the mountains from our window, also the friendlyness of the staff.

Es war sehr unkompliziert

L accueil est sympa mais le rapport qualite prix!!!!! Je n ose meme pas faire paraitre les photos que j ai pris de la chambre...l immeuble doit dater de 1930. les portes et fenetres sont d origine. Complétement dèlabrées.....meme prix que l hotel pust a Cunter, a cotè ce dernier était Super.Ca ne valait que 40 Euros et encore....

L'accueil en arrivant. Les renseignements touristiques.Le calme lors des nuits de repos. Un bon rapport qualité/ prix . Merci.

Die Zimmer und Betten waren sauber, kein Komfort, Personal sehr freundlich, dem Preis entsprechend.

The personal was very kind, and they spoke English.

We did not have a car, and walking from Unspunnen to Interlaken with a baby stroller was a bit unpleasant - there were no sidewalks along that road.

Отель находится недалеко от водопадов и станции горной железной дороги, от которой отправляются поезда по экскурссионным маршрутам. В отеле мало постояльцев, поэтому было тихо. Большой просторный зал для завтрака.

Старая, облезлая мебель, рамы, пол. Лестницы, полы, жалюзи сильно скрипят. Слышен каждый звук из соседних номеров.
