Hotel Krone Unterstrass

Hotel muy bien conectado con parada de Tram en la puerta del Hotel. A tres paradas del centro y, en sentido contrario, a unos 25minutos del aeropuerto. Hotel en proceso de remodelación pero muy confortable. Staff muy amable y servicial. Tuve la suerte de tener una habitación en la última planta con vistas magníficas de Zürich, pequeña terraza incluída en la habitación.

Relación calidad-precio un poco justa. Aunque hay que tener en cuenta que en Suiza todo es más caro con respecto, por ejemplo, a España. No incluía desayuno y no había opción de haberlo obtenido incluido, una lástima.

E confort que ofrece todas sus instalaciones.

A 10 min. del centro, decoración de las habitaciones moderna de lineas limpias, habitación grande, confortable, personal muy amable, estupendo desayuno.

The style, cleanliness and location. Staff was very good also.

The flooring was so squeaky that I awoke other guests when I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. The bed was not comfortable. Also, the tv was positioned so high that it hurt my neck to watch it. Lastly, restaurant pricing was quite high, especially breakfast. My company allows 6.00 chf for breakfast. 19.00 was simply unacceptable for a buffet style breakfast. Also, 25.00 chf for 24 hour internet access was the highest I've ever seen. I wanted to use it daily but simply could not justify the high cost. 5:00 chf for 2 hours would have been acceptable.

It's very inconvinient that hotel reserves money from credit card. First of all before your arrival (100 CHF), what is rather understandable, than, when you arrive they release first 100 CHF, but reserved on top of room's price additionally 70 CHF and say that they will release them after your check-out and they're reserved as security for mini-bar usage. After releasing of reservation money are available on credit card only one month after, so all of that means that 170 CHF (100+70) are forzen for a month and you can't spend it. It's not indocated anywhere, hen I made reservation and for me it's not fair enough. Wise staff of hotel won;t reserve additional 70 CHF, but would use for security first 100 CHF, but in our case staff wasn't wise

The Front desk staff were very efficient and pleasant, the resturant was a high quality, the breakfast was more than adequate, the bedding in the hotel was very comfortable, and the hotel was in a very good state of repair. It was updated, the furniture was well kept. It was nice to have a mini bar although we did not use it.

I did not like having to pay for WIFI. Other hotels we stayed in Switzerland offered it free. The bath toiletries- soap/shampoo.

The excellent staff, the quality of the restaurant, the comfort and style of the rooms

The staff were courteous and room was comfortable as I had to stay just the night in Zurich and was worth it.

This was beyond and above what I could expect to find. Four minutes after leaving the railway station, the tram left me at the hotel door and everything was just perfect and relaxing. Great!
