Hotel Krone Unterstrass  

Uitstekend hotel. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Goed restaurant. Uitstekende facilteiten voor de zakelijke reiziger. Zeer moderne kamers. Een aanrader. Dit is al mijne tweede verblijf. Kom zeker weer terug.

Nette comfortabele kamers, goede lokatie en voorzieningen.

Hotelkamer en badkamer in het nieuwe Townhouse was modern en mooi ingericht, wel klein.

Het ontbijt was slecht verzorgd: weinig kaas, eierkoker deed het niet, geen brood aanwezig, personeel gaf op navraag stomme antwoord, het duurde wel een half uur voordat weer vers brood kwam.

Studio kamers zijn zeer aangenaam.

Geen drank op de kamer.

The location was good (front of tram stop), the room was clean and tidy

The receptionists are very rude and not friendly, especially with people from middle east. They have no helpful information. So much noisy and could not sleep properly. The rooms are very small and not recommended for families.

Good value at location. Easy access to city by tram.

Restaurant to expensive for what you get.

It can be very noisy if you get one of the rooms facing the main street (trams and cars).

The hotel is very near to Central Railway Station. Rooms are comfortable.

The prices are very high.

It is conveniently located, tram stop outside hotel, only 4 stops to Bahnhofstrasse + 3 stops to railway station for train to airport.

Unfortunately the hotel is catering more and more for business and Corporate entertaining and the place is buzzing with business people making it uncomfortable for guests just staying and visiting Zurich. The main restaurant gets closed for company cocktail receptions. The second restaurant with bar is very small. There is no lounge facility where a drink could be enjoyed. There are just three easy chairs with a small table next to the reception desk. It lacks space in the reception area. Business people should be required to stay on the 1st floor for all their functions - where the hotel has conference/entertaining rooms. They should think of how they could provide lounge facilities. The food used to be excellent and was freshly prepared on the premises but sadly most of it gets now delivered by a catering company and heated up in the kitchen or in the restaurant which is tightly packed with tables they grill meat on a trolley with flames come out of the gadget next to the people who have ordered the food which is unpleasant to other guests and makes the restaurant hot and smelly.

Very modern and super clean rooms with all necessary amenities. Fantastic value for money. You will feel like at home at this hotel.

The only disadvantage is not availability of tea or coffee at the cheaper rooms but you get welcome drink voucher on your arrival.

The Hotel's staff is very friendly and efficient. They go out of their way to make you feel good. Plus, location, restaurant, and price are unbeatable. A great place to stay while in Zurich.
