good car park, nice bar staff and relaxed atmosphere. the room was in need of renovation and the bathroom was poor, but clean. |

Location near the lake and walking distance to and from Lugano downtown The staff at the reception desk is harassed and unpleasant. The night staff only speaks Italian so make sure you ask before 10 pm where the breakfast room is... particularly if you leave early on the following day. |

Yes. It was dirty, shabby, smelly, rundown. We left within an hour of arrival, because we could not bring ourselves to sleep in the beds. We lost our money because it was worst hotel we have ever been in. |

Good value for money. Close to the centre and yet not in the middle of it all. Would have loved it more had I had a view of the mountains round lake Lugano as can be enjoyef from the second floor of Canva au Lac at which we have been 3 or 4 times. However I had balcony...so it was good really especially in the evening. Perhaps guests could be offered help with their luggages on their way out. Also, it would be nice to advise customers booking on line that payment has been withdrawn from bank by hotel, since on the booking printout it says that payment, although not refundable, will only be effected when client is at hotel. |

I did like staying in Calipso because it was easy to reach the Lugano itself - with two buses which stops are only 2 blocs away from hotel - and very easy to travel anywhere in Ticino - with local train which stops at Lugano-Paradiso which is only 5 minutes away from hotel The reception people seemed to be overburdened and tired with their work and not always willing to deal with you |

We made reservations for two rooms and had confirmation from booking.com for both rooms (in two different guest names). When we arrived the hotel insisted we only had one reservations despite the fact we had the written confirmation in hand. The person from the hotel we were working with was very short with us and made her irritation quite know although the hotel was the one in error. |

Einfach, dafür günstig, und das bei guter Lage nahe beim Bahnhof Paradiso, direkt neben der Bergbahn San Salvatore und unweit der Promenade am Luganer See. Für Gäste, welche sich ein paar Tage Lugano und Umgebung anschauen wollen eine gute und vollkommen ausreichende Übernachtungsmöglichkeit. Das Frühstück ist nicht pompös, aber für die Preislage wirklich zufriedenstellend. Sehr mässiger Kaffee zum Frühstück. |

Das Hotel ist übersichtlich und sauber. Die Angestellten sind zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir können das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Mit Fr. 15.00 / Tag sehr teurer Parkplatz |

La proximité de la ville et de l'endroit où habitent les personnes à qui nous sommes venus rendre visite.Le buffet pour le petit-déjeuner qui est pratique et rapide. Les serviettes de bains et essuie-mains sont sont propres mais certains devraient être remplacés |

Da wir im Calypso Park das Zimmer hatten, waren wir über die sehr ruhige Lage angenehm überrascht, das Zimmer und das Bad war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück entspricht dieser Preiskatagorie. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Der preisgünstige Parkplatz beim Hotel ist vorteilhaft. Die Eingangspartie zum Calypso Park sollte etwas freundlicher gestaltet werden. |

Het is een eenvoudig hotel, maar daar is ook de prijs naar. Het ontbijt is toch wel erg eenvoudig, alleen mar stokbrood met jam. |

De nabijheid van het meer en het centrum, dit is wel een wandeling waard. Minimaal comfort, ontbijt was inclusief maar ook matig. Het personeel was niet vriendelijker dan strikt noodzakelijk. |

Wir waren an der Rad WM. Der Aufenthalt war i.O. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmte. Das Bad/WC war sauber. Weiterempfehlung für Kurzaufenthalt. Für Ferien eher nein, da zu karg. Die Einrichtungen sind sehr alt. Aber dem Preis angemessen. |

disponbilità da parte del personale l'albergo possiede spazi abbastanza ampi per poter fornire maggiori comfort.purtroppo quello che ho notato è che diversi spazi sono lasciati in uno stato di abbandono, apparentemente senza motivo.un bar in disuso, la zona relax/sauna e la palestra pure non contribuiscono a dare una buona immagine dell'hotel.in questo senso si potrebbe fare un pò di più |
