great location in Lugano, next to the lake and within walking distance to Gandria. Beautiful gardens and nice pool. Rooms were sparsely furnished, not comfortable and bathrooms desperately need updating. |

The Carlton Villa Moritz is nestled in a beautiful setting. It was quiet, clean, and the staff were very good. Absolutely loved it! Signage to the hotel was very good. The parking, like in most small European countries is difficult. The hotel does have a garage for a small fee, but make sure you have a small car or it will be difficult for you to fit in the small garage along with other cars. |

service was again excellent, good room, with a large balcony- not all have siuch a large one, but they remembered us from a previous visit, and kept the room for us. Parking is at a premium there, we were lucky to get a position in their underground car park, but it is a squeeze in a large car, but that is a minor point. |

Service was faultless, as it should be everywhere but seldom is. Lovely view from our balcony over the lake and mountains. Parking was a challenge due to limited availbility, but that is to be expected for a late booking, and the location where land is very expensive. Childrfen in the dining room were not well amanged by their parents, but that is modern European life, and the staff did ensure there were no repeats the next night... Excellent meal both nights very good value for money for the quality & service. |

Charme désuet d'un hotel venant d'un autre âge, on se croirait revenir au temps D'Hercules Poirot dans un roman d'Agatha Christie. Décentré par rapport au centre ville sans service de navette; transports publics peu pratiques et peu fréquents. |

Insgesamt eine wunderschöne Anlage mit Seeblick, ect Das Hotel ist alt, völlig "vergestaubt", gehört von Grund auf modernisiert, renoviert und überholt, schade für dieses schöne Anwesen |

La possibilité de prendre sont petit déjeuner à l'exterieur,la jolie vue depuis la terrasse, peu de bruit si ce n'est la cliche de l'église mais qui n'est pas si dérenageante et la literie confortable. Le lavabo dans la chambre, la douche plus que basic,la vieille moquette usée dans la chambre et dans les parties communes, les nombreux escaliers (à déconseiller aux personnes aynat des problème de mobilité). Aucun fruit pour le petit déjeuner. |

Interessante Villa in ruhiger Lage am Luganer See. Schöner Pool mit Blick auf den See. Die Zimmer, Türen und Fensterläden benötigen eine Renovierung. Zum Frühstück kein Obst ! |

Le personnel était cordial, voire sympatique... Et surtout, la vue depuis le balcon et depuis la piscine chauffée, qui donne sur le Lac de Lugano ! Le restaurant de l'hotel était bon (pratique avec un bébé, pas besoin d'aller en ville), le petit dej copieux. Le calme de l'environnement. Il y avait quelques marches pour atteindre notre chambre depuis l'ascenseur (quand on a une poussette). Les volets ne fermaient pas. |

Romantische Lage mit gepflegtem Garten. Info am Empfang war gut. Kellner waren höflich und zuvorkommend. Unsauberer Zimmerboden und ungepflegter Terassenboden (Balkon) am Zimmer. Fehlendes Obst beim Frühstück. Enge Garage. |

Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und vom Hotel-Zimmer aus hat man eine Traumhafte Aussicht auf den See und die Umgebung. Sehr gut zum sich Erholen und einfach geniessen. |
