Casa Berno  

The location is gorgeous. Still, you have to have a car in order to be able to move around. The restaurant food was pretty nice. I do think the chef could be the only one to be congratulated in that hotel!

This was one of the poorest choices I have ever made. It is not booking.com`s fault; it is about the poor offer in Ticino. It is incredible what a poor quality can be offered for such exorbitant rates!!! Switzerland, anyway, it is incredible when it comes about taking your money away...but at least if the quality you receive back would be in a nice balance! Which it is not the case here! The hotel is outdated and poorly decorated. The attempts made are of a vbad taste. It looks like frozen in the 60s - and not on the good side of that era. In addition, the clientele seems also from the same era... Ah, and be warned: I am a dog-lover, but I have never seen such a menajerie as in this hotel!!! I could understand a dog-friendly hotel, but not like here: you are jammed in the tinny elevator by dogs and dog owners; there are barkings at almost all the floors; you don`t have a corner without dogs. It is unbelievable! Sincerely? What you pay here is the view over the lake. And that`s it! Big disappointment!

The view over the lake and mountains is wonderful. It is visible from many of the rooms, the dining area. Breakfast buffet has cooked and cold dishes - very good! Pool area is very pleasant and also has a great view.

Casa Berno is located several kilometres away from the centre. It is possible to reach by public transport and shuttle bus, but this is not very convenient.

Eine super Aussicht auf den See!

Ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Eine Renovierung für diesen Preis wäre angemessen.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, alle Mitarbeiter sehr aufmerksam und nett. Mann fühlt sich extrem gut aufgehoben und geniesst das tolle Ambiente.Auch das Essen war immer sehr vorzüglich. Wir werden auf jeden fall wieder ins Casa Berno gehen. Dieses Hotel kann man mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

Die Lage und das Frühstücksbuffet sind absolut top. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist für den Preis am unteren Ende aber sehr sauber. Pool und Erholungsraum an bester Lage, absolute Ruhe und sehr nette Angestellte.

Der Preis war für den Standard der Zimmer zu hoch. Auch wird Z.B. am Pool nur von 11-17Uhr serviert, wobei man gar nicht weiss wo man bestellen kann, was in dieser Preisklasse nicht geht. Wenn man chf 470.- pro Nacht bezahlt, dürfte im Zimmer auch eine Flasche Mineral oder vielleicht sogar ein Willkommensprosecco stehen.

Es hat uns gut gefallen im Casa Berno. Zwei Gründe wieder ins Casa Berno zu kommen: super schöne Aussicht, sehr nette zuvorkommende aufmerksame Bedienung am Abend mit schöner Ambiance und gutem Essen.

Ein Grund nicht mehr ins Casa Berno zu kommen: Der stolze Zimmerpreis von Fr. 420.00 hat sich nicht mit dem Interieur/Luxus und Grösse des Zimmers gedeckt.

Das Ambiente, die Lage des Hotels, die Hotelmitarbeiter. Alles stimmte perfekt. Auch fanden wir es toll, dass wir mit dem Bus (Hotel) jeweils nach Ascona chauffiert wurden und das Auto überhaupt nicht brauchten. Zum sonnenbaden am Pool mit der wunderbaren Aussicht ist dieses Hotel einfach genial! Wir haben es sehr genossen!
