La vicinanza alla stazione centrale di Basilea L'accesso alle camere avviene dal retro delle cucine dell'hotel Euler (imbarazzante!!), la salita al primo piano a mezzo di un vecchissimo ascensore, i piani successivi sono accessibili solo tramite una scala di legno vecchia e angusta. |

Very central, short walk from station Through plush hotel frontage of Hotel Euler then you walk down a maze of corridors, past the kitchens and go up an ancient elevator and there you are in the Hotel Central accommodation. All looks a bit downtrodden but the rooms are basically o.k. |

Very central location (right by main tram terminal and less than 5min from airport bus / railway station). Staff very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a little cramped, but I am quite big so this wouldn't be a problem for everyone! |

cleanliness of room - a good quality bed - a small but practical, clean and well working bathroom in fact the Hotel Central does not exist any more it has been absorbed by the Hotel Euler. If one tries to locate the Hotel Central one gets puzzled because the front of the hotel entrance only shows Hotel Euler. The back entrance which appears as a staff entrance (dirty) list a Hotel Central sign but it is not luminated any more. If one enters from here there is a sewage smell. |

central location near railway station as above, no street access and no way to find it from street or from address provided on booking form as Hotel Euler does not have street number on it. |

The location That the breakfast was not included in the price. That made the room slightly overcharged. Had to climb over a constructionsite to get to the room and it was rather small and poorly ventilated |

I read so many terrible reviews about this hotel but to be honest it is not bad at all, it's a small room with a small bathroom and when you are there for one night for a Euro 2008 football night it's more than enough, i think the room was clean and had great selection of TV channels, i recommend it if you travel single |
