Even though there were little details that could have been better, they were not as important as the general impression: the location, the hotel and the services they offer is wonderful (the bathroom needs updating, new pillows would be great). The restaurant serves delicious food (but they are a little bit slow in serving). However, we don´t mind those details and are already willing to return. Actually, we are already preparing our next visit! |

Centre of Kandersteg, a wonderful Swiss mountain village with little traffic, and with farming going on all around, as it has for centuries.Hotel very comfortable, staff friendly.We stayed here about 4 years ago. |

Nice location (close to station but so much, not noisy at all) and perfect view from balcony. Freindly staff both in hotel and restaurant, good kitchen. Very small toilet. Lamp there turns off if you don't move:) |

I have visited Kandarsteg for thirty years but I found myself facing unprecedented circumstances this time since it was snowing for nearly all of the time I was there. I spent a lot of time in a sauna robe in my womderfully warm robe occasionally going out on to my balcony to see how the world was doing. I was taking a break between jobs and I had only a few days and this suited me perfectly. Since you're asking, the only thing I'd crib about is TV reception. The only English-speaking channel seemed to be CNN. |

Wir haben in einem Aussenhaus (Chalet) übernachtet. Das war sehr geräumig und hübsch. Das Fleisch beim Abendessen war wohl schon mindestens 3x aufgewärmt gewesen und so trocken, dass es eigentlich als Trockenfleisch durchgehen würde. |

ristorante apprezzabile e confortevole, le camere sono accoglienti.La posizione è centrale. L'ingresso e la hall dell'hotel avrebbero bisogno di essere rimodernati ed è un peccato perchè invece il ristorante è carino e cosi' pure le camere. |

Schöne zentrale Lage mit viel Natur zum Wandern. Sehr für Hundehalter geeignet! WLAN funktioniert nicht im Zimmer und im Hotel selber nur eingeschränkt (mal ja, mal nein). Fernseher nicht richtig eingestellt (das hat man schon aufgegeben laut Sprecherin an der Rezeption) |

la chambre double standard était très bien. la cuisine au restaurant de l'hôtel était très bonne avec un très bon service. piscine couverte ouverte jusqu'à minuit très agréable. je retournerais dans cet hôtel les finitions de la salle de bain. (mur, aération) |
