Located on a sunny slope overlooking the Dents du Midi, the 3-star B&B Chalet Les Cascades is situated just above the village of Champéry. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The ski lift and the ski area of Portes du Soleil are only a 5-minute drive away. Hiking and mountain bike trails start right from the front door. All rooms at Les Cascades Chalet have a balcony or terrace and a bathroom with luxury toiletries. The beds have feather comforters and pillows. Allergy-free bed linens are available upon request. Dinner is available in winter, but needs to be ordered in advance. Afternoon tea is served in winter. There is a panoramic dining area with a guest lounge and an open fireplace, as well as a large sunny balcony. A plasma satellite TV, DVDs and games are available there. In summer, guests can take advantage of over 497 miles of hiking trails and 404 miles of mountain bike trails. There are indoor and outdoor pools in the village of Champéry. I fell in love with Bailey - Bernese Mountain Dog, it belongs to the owners of the Chalet. I was also amazed by interior design and great atmosphere!!!

Very friendly and accomodating owner/managers. Very comfortable and clean. Ideal for younger visitors especially skiers but difficult access on foot for people of our age (60+) The access to the chalet is up a steep road with hairpin bends and not for those not used to mountain driving..Our hosts kindly drove us up and down on arrival/departure, but we could not use the nearby town in the evening. Unfortunately not practical for anyone not used to mountain driving. Fine for others.. Bottled water in the rooms be a nice extra touch.

Die Zimmer sind neu eingerichtet und sauber. Der Hund darf nicht frei herumlaufen. Die Zimmer sind gerade vor dem Autoparkplatz, also lärmig bei offenem Fenster. Keine schöne Aussicht vom Zimmer. Unbequemer Parkplatz. Das Chalet ist nicht angeschrieben, musste lange suchen, dann telephonieren. Im Zimmer fehlt ein Tisch. Tv gibt's nur im Gemeinschaftsraurm. Nur englische Programme. Schlechte Kissen. Keine zeitliche Flexibiltät beim Frühstück. Der Komfort entspricht nicht einem 4-Stern Hotel. Höchstens drei-Sterne. Ist zudem zu teuer. Eine typische englische Geldmaschine. Mit etwas Schnick- Schnack verdeckt. Viel mehr ist es nicht.

Die Einrichtung des b&b ist äusserst geschmackvoll und auf das Chalet abgestimmt. Sam und Matt, die Inhaber des Chalet, sind sehr aufgeschlossen und nett. Man kommt hin und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Frühstuck ist reichhaltig, die Produkte sind frisch und man wird mehr als nur satt. Auf einer Bewertungsskala von 1-10 würde ich eine 10 vergeben!!

Je remercie beaucoup Sam et Mat, les propriétaires du B&B, pour leur accueil agréable et leur gentillesse tout au long du séjour. Très serviables, ils savent accorder à leurs hotes du temps et sont très respectueux des souhaits des uns et des autres. Leur cuisine est parfaite et les repas très conviviaux. Connaissant bien la région, leurs recommandations sont très appréciables que ce soit pour du tourisme ou des activités sportives. Vient s'ajouter à cela la superbe vue sur les Dents du Midi depuis le chalet. Je leur souhaite bonne continuation... Et à bientot!

Bon confort, propreté irréprochable et accueil très sympathique. Le chalet les cascades n'est pas un hôtel mais un b&b Un peu difficile à trouver. Bien prendre un plan de Champery avant de partir et ne pas se laisser dissuader par le panneau " voie sans issue" planté au bas de la route qui y mène.

Les proprietaires sont très souriants et accueillants, les cahmbres bien decorées mais manquent un peu de mobilier. Le chalet et la vue sont magnifiques mais le chalet est un peu loin du centre du village et pas tres facile a trouver ( gps inefficace) . heuresement les proprietaires nous avaient envoyés un plan . c'etait tres bien . Il manquait une table dans la chambre. Tout le reste etait parfait

The chalet is modern and spacious, and in excellent condition with very comfortable beds. The owners, Matthew and Samantha, make you feel welcome and at home and are very knowledgeable about things to do in the region.

Der Empfang und die Betreuung waren sehr herzlich, die Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und standen uns bei kleinen Anliegen sofort zur Seite. Man sollte sich darauf einstellen, dass man zum Essen ein Stück laufen oder das Auto benutzen muss. Im Winter gibt es wohl Abendessen im Haus.

L'ambiance chalet et l'accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires . Un petit déjeuner agréable au 1er étage une chambre spacieuse (petit bémol j'aurai aimé une petite table vers le fauteuil....) Séjour de 2 nuits calmes dans un joli cadre de montagne.....voir la route qui mène au chalet. Le Chalet a été difficile à trouver mais les habitants des environs nous ont renseignés.
