Typical example of excellent management of a B&B. Good breakfast. Many thanks to Mrs Sylvie for her hospitality.

Just returned from a weekend of skiing with two friends. Our partners had stayed in Les Gets the week before and we definitely got the better deal. 1.20 hours from the airport, hired a car (much cheaper than transfers). There is a free car park adjacent to the Chalet. The lifts are 50m up the road and opposite the ski hire. The Chalet is super clean, lovely & warm, and generally very convenient. We were looked after by Sylvie, who is very helpful and offers a fine breakfast. The rooms are great, and we spent post ski / pre dinner sat on the balcony.

The Chalet is cozy and generally pleasant. It is right next to the creek, which was nice to listen to at night with the window cracked. A variety of options were provided for breakfast in the very nice kitchen. Our friends from Geneva had a great experience at the Chalet and had recommended it to us- they said the owner was the hostess for the duration of their stay.

We were very disappointed in the service at The Chalet, which is why we have given it a poor rating. Keep in mind that we are American and may have different expectations than others. Read on if you want more detailed information. No one was at The Chalet when we attempted to enter during check in hours (we hadn't noticed the "pin code" listed on the reservation confirmation, but it was wrong anyway), therefore we were only able to get in by calling and did not receive any information on the facilities. There was no information provided in any format for the Chalet or for the village that we found, other than some brochures left in the common areas and a tiny card with the internet password on the wall. We did not know of the living space we could use, or if we could use the kitchen- doors to both were closed. The internet did not work the first night, the router apparently needed to be reset but we did not know where that was. We were reprimanded by the hostess (not the owner) for having skis and boots in our room (there was no way for us to have known where to put them). Then after leaving The Chalet we got a snippy phone message from the hostess (she said she was very irritated) because we had not paid (we had assumed that when booking online with our credit card that our payment was taken care of). She had made no attempt to talk to us about checking out or payment, even when she saw us leaving with our luggage. The walkway was barely shoveled- we shoveled it ourselves to make it wide and flat enough to comfortably pass between the Chalet and the sidewalk. They advertised "most rooms have balconies"- ours did not, why disappoint anyone? Our room was tiny with angled ceilings, no room to dry ski clothes. The lights were not working on the second landing. The ski storage area in the basement was too cold to leave boots or clothing.

The location is great and the chalet itself is lovely. Reasonable sized rooms and good facilities.

This chalet has recently changed ownership and it maybe that things will improve but... The customer service was poor. There was no one to meet us when we arrived. The breakfast was average and the manager was taken aback when we asked for croissants... Our room was not cleaned once during our stay. We had to ask for toilet roll. This was a different experience to our stay last year where the owners were really helpful. We shall not be returning to this Chalet which is disappointing.

This is in a ski town and we were the only guests at the hotel in the off season. The owners were very helpful and had a nice breakfast in the morning

Quiet place to relax. Great little town with basic amenities available. The chalet is a nice authentic wooden structure which appeals to those who enjoy the classic buildings of the area. Quaint and romantic. Good breakfast and very friendly hostess.

Not at the fault of the owners, but noisy tenants can ruin a nights sleep. The walls are quite thin!
