Hotel Chalet Swiss  

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Chalet Swiss and would certainly recommend it to others. Positives: - 5 minute walk to train station and town centre - Breakfast was good (cereals, fresh bread, cold meats, cheese, juice, hot drinks, fruit) - The evening meal was reasonable and good value (CHF 28 for soup, salad, fondu, and desert). There was also a childrens menu. - Supermarket close by - Warm room - Clean room - Advice offered by friendly staff was helpful Negatives - Pillow too soft (didn't offer enough support for my neck) - Lots of tourist buses arriving late and leaving early in the morning. Can be a bit noisy early in the morning. Extra things to do in Interlaken (other than the train rides and visit to lookouts) - Visit the Schuh chocolate making show (across the road from tourist info). There were loads of amazing free samples during the show and then you get a voucher to buy more chocolates. Well worth it.

Breakfast was good, but there was no service, self service. Jacuzzi good, views of the room where fantastic. Safe in room Reception staff very helpful, lots of information provided. Parking good

Poor bed, twin beds attached to each other, so it looks like a double. Room interior was very standard, bathroom very basic, shower in bath but very slippery. Hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday evening. No information / leaflets or folders in the room. Hotel is located on busy road, during the day very noisy, in the night very quiet.

Friendly staff, clean room, good location.

Nothing serious, breakfast was basic and could have been better.

Nice family loft unit with 2 single beds in the loft. The size of the room was nice for a European hotel.

The rooms have no a/c so are warm and stuffy on hot days which ours was. The loft in particular was very warm with just a small fan provided. The hotel also caters to tour busses.

Pleasant family run hotel.

Hotel room quite hot at night. Can't open the window as the hotel is on a main road and Interlaken gets surprisingly noisy at night. Like everything in Switzerland, very expensive for what it is.

Atendimento muito eficiente com excelente café da manhã. Limpo e com excelente sauna

ホテルスタッフも気さくで感じ良かった。 小さいジャグジーだったが、それなりにリラックスすることができた。 部屋がロフトになっており、子供連れには最適。 ＴＶは日本の番組も見ることが出来た。

サウナが使うことが出来なかった。 ロケーションは中心地より離れているので車がないと少し不便。

Die Familienzimmer im offenen Galleriestyle sind lässig und haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch war es super, dass die Balkone vom Schrägdach zugedeckt sind, sodass man sogar bei Regen auf den Balkon sitzen kann. Der Whirlpool war für die ganze Familie ein wohltuendes Abspannen nach einem anstrengenden Wandertag. Das Personal, auch der Chef, sind sehr familiär und unkompliziert. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Vielleicht kommen wir wieder.

Die Begrüssung des Hotelchefs sowie die Abrechnung, Verabschiedung war äusserts herzlich. Witz und Humor, sowie freundlichkeit und ortskundigkeit waren selbstverständlich. Wir waren begeistert. Nacht, D.H. um 04.00 Uhr früh, als wir zurückkamen ins Hotel wurden wir von einem Nachtportier wieder herzlich begrüsst. Super.

O que eu achei de maravilhoso neste hotel,foi a localizaçaõ ´pois estavamos pràticamente no centro da cidade,e com ares de campo,tendo fazendinhas,ondes podiamos ver vacas ,ovelhas e etc.Qaundo abria a janela podia ver o Jungfrau todos os dias todo nevado,liiiiindo.O Hotel é um chalet mesmo,até os defeitos ,como o barulho dos hóspedes andando,pois é todo construido de madeira,mas até isso me encantou.

O fato de não ter frigobar dentro do quarto,e poderia ter facilidades para fazermos café ou chá.
