This original Swiss Chalet was built in 1862 and has been stylishly refurbished. The hotel boasts beautiful views from its rose garden across the valley to the Jungfrau mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

St Beatus Caves - about 6 km - Located at Beatenbucht on the lake of Thun, this is a prehistoric settlement with 1 km of lighted stalactite caves, as well spring halls and waterfalls.

Skiing at Jungfrau - There are several ski resorts in the area, however a Skibus takes you directly from the Hotel Chalet Swiss to Jungfrau. The Skibus is free if you have a valid Jungfrau winter region pass and a visitors card for Interlaken/Matten/Unterseen. Alternatively you can pay CHF 17 for adults or CHF 14 for children aged 6 -16. For larger groups you will need to reserve at reception the day before your intended journey.
