This hotel enjoys a quiet location in the Steinmatte area, a 3-minute walk from the center and 5 minutes from all train and cable car stations. Free Wi-Fi is available. Very friendly staff and very helpful .Clean and very homely . They pick you up and take you back to the railway station . Nothing.

Close to the center Warm welcome Considering the high price paid for 3 persons (chf. 700.-) we do not consider the hotel as a 4 stars, for several reasons: The room we had is too small for 3 persons The additional bed is too narrow, being an arm- chair extension The room is noisy as close to the street, loud people being heard thru the night The heater below the window could not be closed, much heating the room thru the night No minibar All of the above position the hotel as a 3-stars maximum.

It is a lovely hotel with country-home decoration which makes you feel warm. Zermatt is a small village so although Chesa Valese is not near the station, it's still located at a convenient but quiet place. What's more, free taxi (in Zermatt style) is provided! So you don't have to worry about carrying heavy baggages. Breakfast is nice. Free wifi is provided with several connections and so smooth and fast internet connection is guaranteed. The room is comfortable with big bed and balcony. Shower curtain should be installed to avoid the leak of water during shower. A small piece of moving glass is not enough to prevent water dripping and wet the floor.

来到前台所有文件就已经准备好了，签个名就行，无需任何担保。酒店环境非常好，外面还有个小花园，内部装修- 时欧式田园风的，还有个很大的阳台，早餐很美味。

L'accueil bienveillant, attentionné et généreux de la part du personnel, la possibilité de profiter du sauna, jaccousi. Et puis ... être au pied du Cervin, pas bien loin du centre ville ... ce n'est pas rien! "petit" bémol avec les 2 lits "séparés" (pas de grand lit) !

Mi è piaciuto tutto. Ottima struttura e servizio attento alle esigenze del cliente. La Svizzera è sempre una garanzia sia nella ristorazione sia nella hotelerie. E Chesa Valese è decisamente un posto dove tornare.

Gute Lage, schöne Aussicht, sehr freundliches Personal, sinnvoll und gut eingerichtetes neues Badezimmer, angemessenes Frühstückbuffet, schöner Aufenthaltsraum mit Garten. Ich habe aufgrund der Beschreibung bei "booking.com" gebucht. Dort hiess es (ich konsultierte die französche Seite) das «chambre Double de Luxe» sei «spacieuse». Nein, klein war das Zimmer, das wir hatten, nicht gerade. Neben den zwei Betten hatte es noch Platz für ein Polstersessel (freilich nur einen) und einen kleinen Tisch. Doch die Dachschräge (geschätzte Kniewandhöhe 1.30m) liess das Zimmer (noch) kleiner erscheinen. Jedenfalls schlug ich beim ins Bett gehen den Kopf an. Und ja, es hatte einen Balkon, wie angepriesen. «Mini-Balkon» wäre indessen ehrlicher. Zwei Personen können praktisch nicht miteinander draussen sitzen. Aber zum Bewundern der Aussicht und für eine Person ist er I.O. Aber trotz allem, ich kann mir vorstellen, wieder ins Chesa Valese zurück zu kehren, doch würde ich ein Zimmer ohne Dachschräge verlangen. Zudem rege ich an, dass das Hotel die Beschreibung bei booking.com überarbeitet und sich anstatt «chambre spacieuse» etwas Bescheideneres einfallen lässt.
