Convenient location to the musee d`horlogerie which was the purpose of my visit. Rather noisy as it is directly adjacent to a children`s playground.

Food was good. Parking extremely poor, almost non existent. Wine selection very limited.Hotel was still in the process of being renovated and therefore in many aspects not finished yet. Therefore the prices should have been discounted.

The owner said that booking.com gave false information. No Hotel Room with extra bed! There are triple rooms! And then shoved us into a double and threw a mattress on the floor and said it was a triple and tore 630 CHF instead of 480 CHF are guaranteed booking.com! Also, the hotel was renovated! From morning till night a terrible roar !!!!!!

L'accueil du patron est très sympathique. La situation de l'hôtel est bien centrale et dans le joli coin de la Chaux de Fonds. La chambre était spacieuse et propre. Il y a un restaurant juste en face où des personnes fêtaient un anniversaire , c'était très bruyant surtout quand ils sont sortis vers 2h00 du matin mais là, l'hôtel n'y peut pas grand chose. Les housses de couette sentaient la cigarette (dans une chambre non fumeur) : attention à ne pas mélanger le linge ... L'hôtel est un peu cher par rapport à sa qualité.

Feines Essen und freundliche Bedienung Während eines Unbaus sollten nicht gebrauchte möbel nicht in anderen Hotelzimmern untergebracht werden. Macht etwas den Eindruck einer Abstellkammer, das fanden wir schade.

Hotelmitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Renovation des Zimmers war nicht fertig: die Badewanne stand unangeschlossen im Zimmer (!), kein Schrank, keine Kofferablage, kein Nachtisch und Nachttischlampe, nur ein Lichtschalter (neben der Türe). Beim Duschen wird das ganze Badezimmer unter Wasser gesetzt. Und das alles ohne Preisreduktion!

Das Hotel "chez Gilles" bietet viel mehr als ich eigentlich von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarte. Die Zimmer sind Top, hell und freundlich. Frühstück und Nachtessen ohne Firlefanz aber in bester Qualität. Preis und Leistung Verhältnis stimmt. Nichts, alles bestens :-)

Leider war bereits ab 18:50 kein persönlicher Check-In möglich und wir mussten über Telefon und im Dunkeln unsere Zimmer suchen. Das gebuchte 4-Bett-Zimmer war leider nicht verfügbar. Eines der beiden Doppelzimmer hatte leider keinen Schlüssel. Frühstück war sehr gut, leider hatten wir zuwenig Zeit.

Les chambres confortables et bien insonorisées. Le manque de volets.Il y avait bien des stores à lamelles,mais en mauvais état et surtout qui nous cachaient des vues extérieures mais qui n'obscurcissaient pas la chambre...

Excellent dîner bien servi. La chambre était spacieuse et non fumeur comme nous l'avions impérativement demandé. Pas d'ascenseur qui peut être un handicap pour certaines personnes. La chambre ne semblait pas terminée. Il y avait une armoire démontée contre le mur qui nous a surpris.

Familienbetrieb mit sehr persönlicher Note. Sehr gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer gut, ein Teil bereits modernisiert. Absolut empfehlenswert. Einziges Manko: sehr wenige Parkplätze.

Localização central e preço em relação aos demais hotéis da cidade. Também o café da manhã é bastante agradável. Atentar ao fato de que no Domingo o hotel não mantém funcionários na recepção. Há um aviso na entrada do hotel informando o telefone de contato com a recepção.

Das Essen im Hotel war sehr gut - Nachtessen und Frühstück. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist ein wenig heruntergekommen und nicht sehr gepflegt. z.B. Zimmertüre liess sich nicht mit dem Schlüssel schliessen. Vorhang heruntergerissen, Risse in den Wänden, Fön nicht erhältlich. Der Preis für das 4-Bett-Zimmer zu teuer - im Vergleich zum Hotel, das wir in Montreux gebucht hatten.

Frisch renoviertes Zimmer (alter Kasten stand noch zu Teilen abgebaut im Zimmer), gratis WiFi im Zimmer, sehr angenehme Betten und Decken. Frühstücksbuffet. Badezimmer und Duschkabine ziemlich eng. Etwas lärmig bei offenen Fenstern (aber gut schallisolierende Fenster).
