Chez Gilles  

The owner is polite and friendly. I was put in a room recently renovated (and with taste) and because it was not ready when I arrived, he offered me a drink. This is more of a "restaurant with rooms" situation rather than a real hotel, but it is quite good and the atmosphere is more easy. The restaurant is quite good and I ate the best entrecote of my life (Mr. Gilles prides himself of being a butcher and the evidence is the quality of the meat).

When I phoned to inform about late arrival, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked and I was rebooked on another hotel for the first night. Apart from this being an inconvenience, I have to admit that the owner managed the situation very well and quickly so that I was directed straight to the new hotel, without even going to Chez Gilles. Small suggestion: it would be good to have a hair-dryer in the room.

The owner said that booking.com gave false information. No Hotel Room with extra bed! There are triple rooms! And then shoved us into a double and threw a mattress on the floor and said it was a triple and tore 630 CHF instead of 480 CHF are guaranteed booking.com! Also, the hotel was renovated! From morning till night a terrible roar !!!!!!

Hôtel simple et très bien tenu en centre-ville de La Chaux-de-Fonds, dans une ruelle calme et face à un petit parc. Le restaurant est d'une qualité inattendue, compte-tenu du prix très correct (relativement, on est quand même en Suisse) de la chambre. Petit-déjeuner buffet, où on trouve céréales, viennoiserie et crudités. Chambre spacieuse, ameublement fonctionnel sans plus; la mienne avait une cuisine équipée. Personnel souriant et avenant. Le Wi-Fi fonctionnait bien lors de mon séjour.

Quelques détails qu'on aimerait voir améliorés : des escaliers un peu moins encombrés, plus de cintres dans les armoires et une vrai table de travail avec un bon éclairage pour ceux qui souhaitent travailler. Parking pas facile mais c'est un problème chronique à La Chaux-de-Fonds où les préposés aux PV font tout pour vous dégoûter de la ville.

Flotte menneske som drev hotellet. Alt var bra etter min mening som ikke stiller veldig store krav, negativt om man kan si det i det hele tatt var dårlig parkering rund hotellet og at ingen hadde meny på engelsk. Vanskelig og bestille god mat uten fransk kunskap

Que le ^patron était très sympa

Que l'on avait oublié ma réservation le premier jour j'ai donc été hébergée dans un autre hôtel pour la première nuit. Cet ouibli m'a obligée à effectuer deux déplacement et deux installations alors que mon temps était compté.

Hôtel familial bien situé au centre ville de la Chaux de fond. Chambre spacieuse propre et confortable. Très bon accueil. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Chambre un peu basique mais spacieuse , pas de téléphone.

A cordialidade dos funcionários, o quarto amplo, o café da manha.

Personnel accueillant et serviable. Restaurant design et bonne table. A recommander.

Accueil sympathique et chambres agréables. Grandes et bien équipées (celles que j'ai pu voir).

Frisch renoviertes Zimmer (alter Kasten stand noch zu Teilen abgebaut im Zimmer), gratis WiFi im Zimmer, sehr angenehme Betten und Decken. Frühstücksbuffet.

Badezimmer und Duschkabine ziemlich eng. Etwas lärmig bei offenen Fenstern (aber gut schallisolierende Fenster).

Mitten in der Stadt, trotzdem ruhig, Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Sehr freundliches Personal. Nachtessen war sehr gut. Sehr sauberes, einfach geführtes Hotel. Zimmer neu renoviert. Wir waren drei Nächte hier (4 Erwachsene) und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
