Our Chez Gilles hotel restaurant is situated right in the town centre by a small park and offers you a unique cosy atmosphere and delicious local cuisine All of the nicely furnished en-suite rooms are no-smoking and feature free wireless internet access. Location - very central Staff - friendly even though I had very little French - Owner has very good English Comfortable bed Good WiFi - coverage was good as well in my room and dinning room Really nice bath in the bedroom Cost - Compared to others in Switzerland it was good value but Switzerland is an expensive country TV - As in all hotels in Switzerland very poor English language channels unless you want News

A very personable family run hotel and location in the centre of the town, parking is at a premium but a space was found for us over night. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel, both were very good , the hotel has a very pleasant family run atmosphere . Our room was newly renovated. Make sure you visit the international watch a nd clock museum , truly remarkable establishment . The only downside is the city noise which you can expect from time to time

The owner is polite and friendly. I was put in a room recently renovated (and with taste) and because it was not ready when I arrived, he offered me a drink. This is more of a "restaurant with rooms" situation rather than a real hotel, but it is quite good and the atmosphere is more easy. The restaurant is quite good and I ate the best entrecote of my life (Mr. Gilles prides himself of being a butcher and the evidence is the quality of the meat). When I phoned to inform about late arrival, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked and I was rebooked on another hotel for the first night. Apart from this being an inconvenience, I have to admit that the owner managed the situation very well and quickly so that I was directed straight to the new hotel, without even going to Chez Gilles. Small suggestion: it would be good to have a hair-dryer in the room.

Les chambres rénovées sont très sympa, résolument modernes et de bon goût! Jolie terrasse! Le patron a un excellent sens de l'accueil et le personnel est adorable! Le menu du jour "saumon grillé et légumes" était décevant (aucun goût, ni le saumon et encore moins les légumes!) Le choix des pains au petit-déjeuner!

Freundlich, sauber! Preis/Leistung ok für die Schweiz. Scheinbar wollte man mich wegen Überbuchung oder doppelte Buchung und der Tatsache dass ich nur eine Nacht blieb "fast" wieder nach Hause schicken! Die anderen Gäste kamen später blieben jedoch länger! Was mit den späteren Gästen passiert ist.......???

bon petit déjeuner bon accueil Trop cher pour ce qui est offert hôtel qui pratique des prix d'un 3 étoiles mais qui n'en a pas le standing. Pour ce prix on a bien mieux ailleurs. Chambre au 3ème étage sans ascenseur, sous les toits la chambre offerte s'apparentait plus à un dépôt qu'à une véritable chambre d'hôtel, meublée de bric et de broc!. Non ce n'est pas comme cela que l'hôtellerie suisse attirera des clients!

Rien à reprocher: bon accueil, chambre correcte, et bonne table régionale. Les "lève-tôt" apprécieront le petit déjeuner à 6h30 ce qui est rare (excepté avec les "chaines" et près des aéroports). Un 15/20.

Top Lage, gutes Essen, schön und umkompliziert. - Sauberkeit im Zimmer lässt zu wünschen übrig. Am 2. Tag waren schon die ersten Staubfusel sichtbar. Diese wurden bei der Reinigung nicht weggewischt!!!. Am dritten Tag war es schon fast "grussig". Darunter leidet auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis......

- nettes Personal. - saubere Zimmer. - gutes Restaurant. -Leider zum grössten Teil nur französisch sprechen. Ich weiss, dass man im französisch sprachigen Teil der Schweiz ist. Jedoch kann man in Hotels doch einwenig englisch voraussetzten. -Angaben in der Ausstattung fehlerhaft (Kein Pool, kein Solarium) -Baustelle im Haus, grosser Kinderspielplatz neben dem Haus, keine vernünftigen Vorhänge. (sehr unvorteilhaft bei Nachtschicht.)

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen prima Aussenfassade des Hotels sollte renoviert werden, ein kleiner Schreck bei der Ankunft, der sich aber dann nach dem Zimmerbezug wieder gelegt hat
