Hotel Cristal Design  

L'hotel è ubicato in prossimità del lago e del centro della città, quindi posizione ottima per turisti. L'architettura ed il design sono interessanti, il mobilio moderno e la pulizia più che soddisfacente.

Sconsiglio di recarvisi per chi avesse necessità di una buona privacy in stanza. La porta del bagno e della camera da letto sono in comune (difficile da spiegare, legato ad un gioco di pareti e porte) ed inoltre è prevista una tassa di soggiorno. Ottima la colazione, ma non inclusa, al costo di circa 10 euro a testa (un pò troppo a mio avviso, ci sono diverse catene internazionali di ristorazione subito accanto l'hotel)

La peculiarità.

Hotel rinnovato e pulito. Otima posizione rispetto alle sedi istituzionali. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo per una città in genere cara come Ginevra.

No internet connection and no announcements...

Excellent location. Rooms clean.

Would commend Stephan at reception for excellent customer service skills. The other staff at reception need retraining as the level of skill in dealing with the public was dire. Avoid the three rooms located on the eight floor as the breakfast room is located here and In use from six am. Rooms not soundproofed so a lot of internal & external noise.

The location was good. Beside train station and starbucks Staff was nice and friendly

Internet access was intermiyyant

The location was excellent, plenty of eating options, right near Gare Cornavin and all the transport links. It had also been recently refurbished, so everything in my room was bright and clean and new. Very quiet in the rooms given that it was over a noisey street outside.

I did not like the size of my room. My colleague and I both booked the same style room, a single occupancy room. Whereas my colleague had a decent size hotel room, mine was little more than a large cupboard with a narrow single bed. Not enough room to swing a cat. My advice would be not to book a single room if you are planning on staying for longer than 2 nights. Book a double or twin room for single occupancy if you want some space.

Modern design

Only one chair in the double room. Also just one chair in the triple room. We obliged to drink a tea sitting on the beds.

The internet was unavailable for 2 days and the manager on at the time wasn't interested in getting it fixed or helping out. I only stay at hotels with wifi access so this was a major inconvenience.

It was very difficult to connect to the free internet access

The design of the hotel and the rooms is really nice.

The breakfast is not included in the price of the room and too expensive to take it separately. The internet did not function for a week.

Very clean, modern rooms. Great design of the rooms and a good use of space. We had 3 rooms and everyone was impressed.
