This 4-star hotel has a central but quiet location only 33 yards from the main street, right next to the slopes and only a few minutes from the sports facilities. You can dine in the hotel restaurant or unwind in the lounge, the gym or the sun terrace - experience relaxing holidays. Saas Almagell is located at the end of an alpine valley in South Valais. It is surrounded by mountains and a reservoir at the end of the valley. The regions offers 155 miles of hiking paths, many mountain trips, glaciers, bike paths and sports activities such as tennis, mini golf and climbing. In the winter there are 3 ski areas nearby, Saas Almagell, Saas Grund and Saas Fee, which can be reached by ski bus. The stuff was extremely kind, helpful and attentive. The rooms was all the time clean, and the spa was really good in the end of the day to relax. The food was excellent. I was really pleased with everything.

The hotel is relatively cheap (i.e. cheap by Swiss standards) and at the same time maintains a high Swiss quality. The room is spotlessly clean and the restaurant indeed serves excellent food. On top of that, there is a new wellness area which is very nicely designed and the hotel is not along the main road (which anyway is note very busy) but ca. 50-100 metres away so that it is very quiet there. The family who runs the hotel is very kind and hospitable. When we arrived there was a strange smell in bathroom and in the restaurant -- that was probably due to some really strong cleaning detergent. However, we couldn't smell it later (we were there almost one week) so we didn't bother about it.

Familiengeführtes Hotel, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Abendessen als Halbpension sehr zu empfehlen, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Ruhige Lage, abseits der Strasse.

Het avondeten was zeer verzorgd en lekker! Het ontbijt was ok. Dus half pension boeken is een must! Saas-Almagell is een klein skigebied, de zetellift bevindt zich op 200m. Maar met de gratis skibus ben je op 10 minuten in Saas-Fee! De kamers zijn een beetje oud en de douches klein.

Welness. De toeristenbelasting werd door hortel.com inclusief omschreven en bij afrekenen was dat niet eht geval. Hierdoor werd de nota onverwachts duurder. Vond ik niet correct.

Gastfreundschaft: kein leeres Wort das wird in diesem Hotel gelebt ja ich möchte sagen zelebriert. Einfach toll. !!!! Wunderschön war auch die neue Spa/Wellnessanlage. Das Nachtessen war immer ein Erlebnis. Einfach perfekt und sehr sehr fein. Kann ich allen empfehlen die mal gediegen Essen wollen. Ein grosses Kompliement an die Küche.

Ein sehr ruhiges und schönes Hotel in traumhafter Lage. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Gastronomie und Service waren hervorragend. Dieses Hotel ist geeignet für einen Traumurlaub in den wunderschönen Schweizer Bergen und kann wirklich weiterempfohlen werden. Für uns gab es an dem Hotel nichts auszusetzen!

Sie geben sich sehr mühe die wünsche zu er füllen. Man fült sich sehr wohl!!!!!! Erst um 19.00 Uhr Abend Essen ! Für die ferdaung , gesundeit wäre frücher abend Essen besser ! (18.00 uhr-18.30 Uhr )

Schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Empfang, gutes Konzept mit dem Abendessen, alle assen zur gleichen Zeit. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker, es gab immer noch Nachschlag, spez. Wünsche wurden wenn möglich erfüllt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war einfach aber vollwertig. Total unklompizierter Umgang mit den Gästen, das Personal war stehts freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber geführt, die Zimmer und das Bad sind einfach eingerichtet, die Lage ist ruhig und die Bushaltestelle ist ganz in der Nähe. Im Dezember 2012 wird die Wellnessoase eröffnet. Wir werden im August wieder in diesem Hotel logieren, dieses Hotel können wir bestens empfehlen.
