Hotel Chur  

We stayed in Chur only to take the Bernina scenic train to Tirano. Small town with some nice features but not a destination. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. Across the street from the ancient part of the city. Staff was minimally helpful. Window looked out over a river.

Extremely well furnished and maintained, very clean and comfortable, good breakfast buffet and overall good value. Excellent location on the edge of the old town, with variety of restaurants within a few minutes walk. We were travelling back to uk from Italy, so were pleased to find a secure car park which was locked at night. Staff were very pleasant.

Weather was very warm for the time of year, and when the windows were closed the room was a little stuffy. Also, duvets were more suited to colder weather.

The location was convenient for visiting the old town, and a 15 minute walk from the train station.

Staff did not speak much english and was not very friendly.

The staff are nice and willing to help. The size of room is fair enough.

It's quite a long walk from the station and I asked if there is transportation, the receptionist told me no, quite unbelievable. There is no air-con or fan in the room, I think it's OK at night but there was around 27 degree in the afternoon and you just can't stay longing in such a hot room. Some of the receptionists don't understand English, sometimes the reception table is empty. No hair dryer in the room.

Friendly and helpful check-in at reception, room appropriate for overnight needs and an excellent breakfast selection. Well placed for a visit to the Old Town and not too far from the Raliway Station.

Very nice location and very pleasant stay

but the single rooms appear to be designed for children.

Sehr altes Hotel. Keine richtiger Tisch im Zimmer. Zimmer ca. 2 x 3 Meter gross. Einrichtung Uralt. Einzelbett 90 x 190cm und hat gequitscht. Wireless Empfang im Zimmer wie auch im Restaurant sehr schlecht (ca. 20 Sekunden für das Laden einer Internetseite). Das Hotel nicht zu empfehlen.

Man fühlt sich wohl und Familiär, immer wieder!!! :-)

Vorhänge zu klein / Laken zu klein / Bad-WC sollte renoviert werden / Duschvorhang schimmelig

gute Lage, günstiger Preis, geschützter Gratis-Parkplatz im Hof.

Lärm von der Strasse, altmodische/uralte Einrichtung, schmales Zimmer und schmales Bett, das allerbilligste WC-Papier - wie Schleifpapier! In der Dusche war nur ein einweg-Duschgel im Beutel. Wenn man sowohl abends als auch morgens duschen möchte, reicht das nicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war eher bescheiden und höchstens durchschnittlich. Die auf der booking-website propagierten Bikes zum ausleihen gibt es nur während des Sommers! Darauf sollte man hinweisen - ich kam nämlich primär wegen dieses Angebots. Insgesamt war das Hotel, gemessen am Preis und der Lage, ok.
