1-Free wireless Internet. 2- it was the cheapest price at the time I stayed. 3- it is about 10 minutes walking from the shopping area. 1- there was an insect in my room ( the one which feed on cloth) 2- I can hear the voices of the rooms next to me. 3- the blanket had a hole in it, and the towels as well.

Convenient location for lakeside activities and located near the famous fountain. Wifi is free! (not so common in Geneva). There are a range of interesting restaurants in the area. Another review tainted by the high hotel price that particular week. Outwardly, and from photos, the hotel looks like the hub of international travel with its brace of flags adorning the exterior; however in reality it's a bit dated and located in a backstreet. The walls are thin and the old-style TVs have boomy sound. OK if you have little choice but there are better hotels for the price. The bathroom is tiny and would not be suited if you are large proportioned. I really wished the woman at reception had smiled.

Central position, on the shores of Lac Leman - the Jet d' Eau is just around the corner. Breakfast ok if you like croissants, pastries and cheese - quality is ok, but don't expect variety. Friendly personnel. Free pass on Geneva public transportation system for the time of your stay. Small rooms, old furniture, insufficient maintenance ( the shades in my room were broken, and the pos had apparently frequent trouble in reading Customers' credit cards ). Comfort of a two stars hotel.

Nothing really - it was a very bad and costly experience. It's a 2 eventually 3 stars hotel but not a 4 stars (this is cheating!). 11m2 room for 215 CHF without breakfast is abusive. There was nothing in the room for the luggage; in the armoire, only hanging facilities; for the rest you have to leave everything in the luggage on the floor. There's no parking. Breakfast was very poor (even IBIS ** is by far better). Nothing in the bathroom to put your affairs (only 1 wash-stand). The little TV is of an other age with only 3 channels (none in French). It seemed that they have SATSELECT but not functionning. This hotel shall desappear from your list of selection in Geneva. The price is exhorbitant for a poor 2 stars (they advertize as a 4 **** and this is fraud). All personnel are foreigners not understanding what you are asking in french: they are from Russia, Pakistan and Asia! A real catastrophy...; what a deception in my home country Switzerland.

The hotel is centrally situated at a fiev to ten minute walking distance from the city center. It is also a minute away from Jet d'eau, a marvellous landmark. The hotel staff were very unfriendly. Two incidents to note: The receptionist refused to provide a towel after a long walk in the city. He argued that the cleaners had already changed the towels during the day. My counter-argument was that I had already used up my morning towels to shower and now I needed only one to clean myself up. However, the receptionist was very rude and replied by a sharp no! I did not take the discussion any further but I thought it was an ugly thing for him to do. The result: I couldn't shower! On another instance, I went down at 10:05 for an overpriced breakfast (not good value for money at 18 CHF). The restaurant supervisor apologized for being unable to cater for me as breakfast was served till 10AM! Again, my disappointing willingness to overpay for a simple breakfast was exacerbated by the employee's carelessness.

Position, good bus connections Only few tv channel! In Switzerland I expect to be able to have the possibility to watch also the German and Italian channels. For an international city like Geneva, normally you should be able to see also more international chanels * Breakfast startet only at 7:00. For busines could be to late * The floor not very clean (but room ok)

It was reasonably cheap near the lake and the business district. The hotel is definitely NOT 4 star - so it was actually overpriced for what you get. The room was clean but very small and could be noisy if full.

Excellent location, 4-5 bus stops from central station, in heart of Geneva. Relatively good value, considering prices of Geneva hotels. Free wifi. Strange smell in 5th floor hallway and as I entered my room (503). Very old blankets, with holes and cigarette burns. Tiny tv. Paper-thin walls - I could hear when the neighbors opened their closet & bathroom door. Breakfast buffet pretty simple.

The location was fairly central The a/con wasn't working on the hottest day of the year and when I went to complain the staff were arguing with each other. Tv only had four free channels. Definitely not four star hotel, closer to two.

Leaving This is not a 4 star hotel. It devalues the star system to call an obviously 3 star a hotel something other than that. I was hugely disappointed by what I found on my arrival. Perhaps I would have been less disappointed if you had just called it 3 star!

Very ordinary hotel, nothing special to mention. Location is rather good - close to the lake and not far from the city centre. Very expensive for the facilities provided, in the morning there was no hot water (it is crazy to pay 158 chf per night having no possibility to take shower). Old furniture, strange smell in the room, no view at all...

Nothing apart from price. Dreadful place How it has 4 stars I have no idea. The decor was terribly out of date. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and the tiles cracked. The bath didn't even have a proper shower - just a shower attachment you had to hold. This hotel is extremely basic - I would classify it as a poor 3 star.

“It was clean, friendly and comfortable, and located in the right place. A short walk from the station, literally 5 mins if that, straight out of the station doors and 200 mts along a right hand turn and you were there, that's why I chose to stay here. Leave the hotel by the side door and through a small shopping arcade and you were on the river. Excellent.” John, Stoke On Trent |
