we were tired after being on the road for 10days in Scotland and the moment we arrived at City Chalet/Interlaken and met Matt our tiredness vanished...he made us feel comfortable and this pad is just so new and well maintained...really location is too good!

nothing bad about this place

I chose interlaken cuz it is a quiet, very scenic and centre of Switzerland. We stayed at City Chalet for 6 nights (26th April to 2nd May 2013) City chalet owner has a city chalet oberland hotel and his huge bumgalow on d river he has converted to service apartments. The old bungalow 200 years old has a 4 bhk lovely apartment vth 2 bathrooms on d 1st floor. Bathrooms are shabby bit the villa is very huge and cozy and comfortable. The owner has constructed 2 new bungalows in d same premises and they are brilliant bet, I wish I had got those new ones. My old apartment was bank on the river vth gushing water noise all day.The new ones are having partial river view but are very modern and chic. We loved cooking breakfast and dinner as d Denner supermarket and a Sri Lankan shop selling groceries and vegetables (eg onion, chillies)are very near to City Chalet All action is in interlaken west and not in east called Interlaken Ost so prefer to stay in west. For honeymooners ringgenberg or speiz or brienz on brienz lake and neahaus on thun lake are better but their will be a train or a bus every hour to city. I would definitely recommend a stay in interlaken city

the new apartments with red kitchen are very good, the old schleuhenhaus is also good but the bathrooms are very small and need to be refurbished desperately.

Perfect home away from home. Its little weird that we didnt even get to see any one from the chalet. There were utensils kettle oven etc almost everything you need in home.

sofa bed was a bit let down. Little uncomfortable to sleep on it. We linked smaller sofa and slept horizontally.

We loved the location. Matt was very easy to work with and responsive with our questions. I would recommend it to others.

Old building floor creaked a lot. New building was totally fine. Needs more hooks behind bathroom and bedroom doors. Not enough space to hand towels, pajamas, and clothes. It is rated 4 stars bit I will only give 3 stars.

Non availability of the staff when required. Inquiring for sight seeing and physical presence of hotel staff when required was missing

نظرا لوجود الغرفة ف الدور الأرضي .. ومساحة الشبابيك كبيرة جدا .. فإنها هوت بمستوى الخصوصية الى مستوى متدني .. هددت فيه راحتنا

Nice swiss style wooden house,Their is a nice kitchen and garden , suitable for family or a group with friends, ,also with very competitive price, super market is close to the buliding. It is a good experience to stay in a modern wooden house.

There is no recepiton, check-in time is 16:00.

سكنت مع عائلتي . المكان جداً ممتاز ورائع وأنصح به للعوائل وقريب للاماكن المهمة مثل الشارع الرئيسي واطلالة على النهر مباشرة نظيف جدا ومريح وآمن ووسط المدينة والمطبخ كامل. فيه تكييف

مثل اي مكان في اوروبا لايوجد شطاف للحمام

كل شي فيه اعجبني الاثاث الموقع كل شي كان ممتاز حتى صاحب الشقه جدا محترم لو رجعت ان شاء الله لانترلاكن اكيد بسكن في نفس الشقه

Amplasat in centrul orasului cu vedere catre munti o minunata vedere. Foarte aproape de gara si de magazinele in care gasiti orice aveti nevoie. Nota 10.

السكن جميل ورائع نظيف جدا وبه جميع المستلزمات من سرر واغطيه ولوازم مطبخ وغساله ونشافه وجميعها نظيفه وواسعه ورائعه وارتحت فيه كثيرا كسكن لعائله.

موقعه غير واضح اخذنا ساعه ونصف نبحث عن المكان ولا يوجد لوحه اوعلامه توضح مكانه ممكن لانه جديد. مرتبة السرير غير مريحه , الانترنت في بعض الشاليهات ضعيفه.

تعامل المالك وموقعه المتميز رائع بكل المقاييس

地点在河边，但不太好找，询问了当地人都没能直接找到，天下着雨，找了半个多小时，着实有点恼火。另外，不- 太适合个人游客。

best apartment i have stayed in. the four bedroom apartment was perfect for 7 adults and 1 child. will plan another trip!!

Trotz eingeschränkter Rezeptionszeiten unkomplizierter Check in, Änderungswünschen wurde freundlich und ohne Probleme nachgekommen. Lage zentral, fußläufig zu Restaurants, Kongresscenter, Zentrum; Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Schönes altes Schweizer Haus mit Garten, der benutzt werden kann, zweckmäßiges, nettes Appartment mit kleiner Küche, die ausreicht, sich bei den Schweizer Restaurantpreisen auch mal selber zu versorgen. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis der Unterkunft.

Die Schweiz ist für Deutsche sehr teuer.
