Hotel City Zürich  

The location of the hotel is just great. It takes only 5 mins walking to Railway Central station where one may find shops open on Sundays. The hotel is close to the lake as well - it will take you only 15-20 mins to walk to the pierce for a short boat trip. Breakfast is good. Staff is welocme and hospital.

The street is small although noisy at night that was a surprise for me. Occasionally my room key was blocked for some reason after breakfast. There were my luggage and documents in the room, so I was surprised by hotel stuff who said to me that I was not in the records of the hotel as a guest. So firstly I was rejected and not let in to my room. Having no documents in hands (like booking copy) I was stressed much to resolve the unforeseen problem. It took me some period of time to prove that I am right and that I was actually staying in the hotel. Because of this I should rather choose other hotel next time.

I have stayed here before and find the location great and the rooms very clean. Also, the breakfast is very nice.

My only complain this time was the size of the bathroom in room 113. I have stayed in a single room here before but this room was extremely small. The shower was so small that I could barely wash my hair without getting water all over the floor. If you stay in this hotel, and I do recommend it for a budget traveller, so not stay in room 113.

Fine hotel! It is very successfully located in the center of Zurich. The comfortable numbers equipped all necessary both for rest, and for work. A convenient bed. Convenient (though also not cheap) a parking. The affable professional staff.

A poor breakfast. At such price for number could include in the menu something hot (at least sausages).

very nice and convenient. I thought the twin bed would be too small and uncomfortable but it was fine. The room was surprisingly nice. a great location.

watching regular television programs was a little tedious - you have to go through various items on the tv menu in order to get to the free programming.

Location was excellent, round the corner from the main shiopping streets. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were very small.

Booked the business class twin. When arrived, it appeared, that the room differs from the picture on cite. I can say, that it was the same as standard + 10 cm long. I went down to solve it. The staff told me that it's a business one, because they have different rooms and can not place all the pictures on the site. I asked to get the same as on picture, but there was no of that kind, so I got a little bigger, but tiny anyway. The price is too high for that size of room. Of course, Zurich is expensive at all.

Very helpfull personal at the hotel, room is very clean. Very good location. Just un the center and close to the central railway station.

A little bit nosy outside.On the booking.com that one fare but when I paid they chrge me more/ I do not understand.
