It was clean. It was quiet. The staff were friendly. It was close to the city centre. I have had better breakfasts but perhaps this is Swiss standard and not the German I am used to. |

center of the city, nice and helpful hotel staff the room was very dark - the light very dim. When you enter the hotel and room at night, you have an imporession that you enter a cave like place (not a pleasant imporession). However, the hotel staff was helpful - that's a positive side of the stay there. |

Very well positioned for tourist sites and eateries Tinned "fruit cocktail" is pretty cheap in the UK and doesn't belong in a hotel breakfast at Swiss prices. The room was non-smoking but all the public areas smelled smokey....in common with the other Swiss hotels I used in the last 2 weeks. Am I spoiled by the UK smoking ban or are Swiss hoteliers missing a trick here? |

The double room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was well appointed and towels, toiletries were provided. The price was well worth it. The lift was a plus. The location is perfect for rail and bus travel because it is right in front of the terminal. I would go back there again if given another chance. Very minor, the lighting. |

The rooms are well equipped but without being cluttered. The location is perfect: next to the station, near all the tourist sites and with easy access by tram/bus to all places. |

It locate near by central station so if you give up view from room, it would be comfortable. Everything regarding this Hotel was typical city Hotel. Staff was kindly but I feel it really businesslike. Of course you will not wish warm hospitality I recommend here. |

The best thing is the location, it is really close to the train station (3-5 minutes) , and near to all the tourist places. The room was ok. For that price, the breakfast should be included. |

Close to train station and old part of city to see the sites. Room was clean and we had a nice balcony overlooking the street. It was a nice way to spend our last evening in Switzerland. We would stay again. There's no A/C so we had to sleep with the balcony doors open. A little noise but didn't bother us. Kind of enjoyed hearing the steeple bell ringing every hour. I imagine it would probably be a little warm in the summer months. The shower was small which is ok but it had a thin shower curtain that went around two sides that kept sticking to you as you showered. |
