Fassbind Hotel City am Bahnhof  

Good valu for money. Close to the main railway station, main shpping street and old city of bern within walking distance of 10 minutes.

Not very cosy, but if you want to have sightseeing and shopping that doesn't matter pretty much.

The hotel iv simple but very clean. The big advantage is that it is verxy near to the train station

Good location, only cross the street in front of Bern Main train station. We could walk along main shopping street to old town.

No wifi for this room price compare with others it's not value for money.

The location close to all transportation topped my list. Another plus was the proximuty to shops and eateries. The quietness was noted and very much appreciated. Breakfast was a little more expensive than I would have expected .

Stubbed my toes three times on a chair whose legs curved out onto the floor. I was missing a reading light when in bed. The light mounted on the wall was insufficient for that purpose. There was also insufficient lighting in the bathroom area.

Only plus point of this hotel was, it was close to the train station.

It was extremely noisy, no AC, and very uncomfortable. Be aware, only stay at this hotel if you are catching an early morning train and you want the station to be within a walking distance. Could not open window as it was very noisy. Closed the window and got baked, could not sleep the whole night.

The only thing I liked about the hotel was it's location.

Breakfast buffet was poorly serviced/ replenished. Room was too warm. Room was too noisy due to road traffice. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. I will not return to the hotel.

.Very close to Bern train station and easy to locate on foot. Clean and willing to store luggage w/o fee. Good overall value.

It is a perfect location..right across the street from the train and around the corner from the us embassy. The staff was wonderful and the hotel had a wonderful feel..very european...the fifth floor rooms are terrific. On top of that..i left a valuable necklace and it was returned to me. This is a wonderful hotel.

In the center of Bern. Close to everything.

My room was looking to the platz of the central rail station and window was not isolating very well the noise. Breakfast should be included for this price.
