The view from the window. The decor is very outdated. Smoking was allowed in the rooms, and a very strong deodorant tries to hide remaining pong, but does not succeed. Does not feel clean, because of old carpeting and old wallpaper. Would be a very good hotel (location is excellent) is a little money was well spent.

Location Extremely noisy. No air conditioning in the room, so in order not to suffer from heat exhaustion, one needs to sleep with open windows

I like for the prize and location. Near of everything. I didn't like the man in the reception saturday morning, he was a bit agressiv and in a bad mood. The rest was very good.

The view from breakfast was pretty. Breakfast was pretty average. The light in the room was very sterile - not very atmospheric.

We stayed at the 5th floor with amazing romantic view at local castle. Room itseld was very cozy and clean, Location of the hotel is just perfect- in the city centre, close to all main attractions, shopping street and metro, I think It is the best hotel in the city

The waitress was kind, the position was ok and room was apparently clean (but everything looked old and really "used")... ...The rest is negative: no parking available, no free wi-fi even if price of the room was not so cheap, plastic bathroom, plastic furniture, room too hot (they said there was a system to set temp but I did not find on walls - awake at 3am...), breakfast non included in my price and that was luck cause it was so and so...

Location is great for access to the city/ station etc and the room was perfectly adequat. Don't expect too much of the 'buffett breakfast'... Although, the breakfast room with its view over the city and cathedral is lovely, you should just go for the continental breakfast. I don't think the "choice" of cheese/ sausage and tinned fruit and packed yogurth really constitutes a buffett breakfast. All in all though, a good hotel for a city break offering comfortable accommodation in a beautiful city.

what is nice in the hotel is them staff r really friendly and helpful and the location in heart of lausanne city is really good.. what is not good the room need caring more for example the carpet is so old they need to change it ... i saw many people speaking about the break fast is not good but its good and not so bad and the price is fine only 20 chf u can eat what ever u want..

The thing I like most about the hotel is its central location, just 5 minutes walking distance from a cathedral and other worth to see things, but also Mc Donald and other bars/restaurants. I did not like the fact that there was no kettle in the room. The hotel offers breakfasts though, however, as everything in Lausanne, I found them too pricy and have chosen to find cheaper options around.

The hotel's interior is quite old and grim. You have to pay too much for the Internet wi-fi connection.

Close to the city centre and the station No air conditioning, balcony went to other rooms, shutters not secure and with no airconditioning had to have the windows open. No bar in the hotel.

Located in the city center, close to all the main attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. A transport card for a free use of the main public transports in Lausanne is provided to the hotel guests. Very nice and comfortable rooms! Noise of the street passing the hotel.

Location Everything else. What a disappointment after the Fassbind Alpha-Palmiers. Don't get misled by the Fassbind name. Stinky, really worn out and expensive. Avoid.
