The location is very good and the staff were helpful both at check in and on departure. The room is very basic with a small bed and almost no furniture as the room is so small that there is nowhere to have furniture. It is certainly not a 3 star hotel. |

Location was great in the middle of the old town and only few minutes walking distance from railway station. There was enough space in the room and bed was good as well. Breakfast was quite basic but it was still possible to get enough food. On the opposite side of the street were two night clubs. Their customers kept awful noise until 4.30 in the morning in Friday and Saturday nights. Try to get room from the other side of building. There were no vegetables at breakfast. |

The location is good, closer to historical places of Old Town and train station; pleasant staff. One big really problem - night noise from restaurants and bars across the street. The hotell needs an air-conditioning and wi-fi internet |

Great location - close to shops and eateries, very clean, close parking facilities, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Would definitely return. Quite loud in the evenings, but that's the price you pay for staying centrally. |

Due to street noise from the restaurant in front of the hotel "Leopard", we could not sleep well. The noise lasted until early in the morning. When we talked about this issue with the staff, the answer was very disapointing. "We can't do anything because the noise is from the street." I think there was at least one thing they could do in the booking.com page; This hotel is very uncomfortable due to street noise. We can't do anything about it. So be ware of it before booking". |

We had a huge room facing the rear - no problem with noise. The breakfast was more than we expected, nicely presented. Walking distance to train station and in the heart of historic Bern. Close to all, supermarket nearby. Plan to return for longer stay. |

Overall the room & hotel were very good, also the position was excellent. A few issues we had, and talking with other guests they had as well, was the noise problem from the rooms facing the street. Windows aren't double glazed so street noise was a huge issue. At night noise from people at restaurants across the road. In the early morning lots of noise from delivery trucks, a supermarket is next door and there is banging & crashing every morning from about 5.00-6.00am onwards. Also the room got very warm but you can't open the window to cool down because of the noise from outside. We would not stay at this hotal again due to the noise issues. |

Had a good breakfast. It was extremely noisy being located the room was located on the street and there was a bar right across the street. It was a hot room, so you had to have the windows open which contributed to the noise. Also we discovered that the same room could have been cost less but since we booked it on line, it cost much more. Very disappointing that the lesser rate was not honored.. |

THe room where clean and the breakfast good. But for the atmosphere I find it very basic impersonal and antiseptic. I think that it should be a 2 star hotel |

Breakfast, pleasant staff The rooms are way overpriced. There needs to be fans in rooms during the warm season as it gets much too hot and stuffy even with the windows open. The street noise at night is very difficult to sleep through, yelling from people getting back from the bars early in the morning then trash trucks emptying dumpsters until the sun comes up. All in all, it was a disappointment. I'm used to staying at budget hotels and their accomodations and a stay at this hotel is worth 1/3 of the price it charges. |

The room was a great size for 3 adults and the beds were big too. Breakfast was fresh and offered a good selection of uncooked options. Location was in the heart of town and only a few blocks from the train station. The price but then everything in Switzerland seems to be more expensive than the rest of Europe. |

The location was very good, 10-15 minutes from the train station, in the 'old town' and close to all the attractions. There was no air-conditioning, the breakfast was very basic and the wi-fi internet was expensive. |

Location was great - close to train station and main attractions. Good breakfast, free internet access. Street was very noisy - bar across the street open very late. We hardly slept at all due to the noise - and it was Sunday and Monday! Request a room away from the street and it should be fine. Also, Our shower drain was clogged so the water filled up fast and the curtain was very awkward - did not quite fit the shower. |

Very good room size, very clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was also reasonably good. The street noise was too overwhelming in the night, I was given a room on the 3rd floor facing the street, and I am not even the type of person who is sensitive to noise. The other issue was no air conditioning which is becomes really uncomfortable when I stayed on a hot summer night. |
