Sightseeing. The covers on the bed were too short. It was too expensive. I am not happy to see the man in front of me check out and only paid 190 for his double room. Our room was very spartan. No value for the 330 we paid. Why the big differencce? If I paid 190 I would not complain. We stayed at 6 hotels during our visit to Europe. This was the poorest value for the money. The reception people were very nice and it was a convenient location. |

Great location, short walk to the old bridge and old town. Breakfast was very good. We choose this hotel primarily because they had their own parking garage and we did not want to drag luggage through the old town to get to our hotel. Huge selling point for us. |

We had 2 junior suites and they both were spacious, beds were comfortable and air conditioning was working well. Location of the hotel was perfect for shopping and rooms were very quiet. |

Hotel is relatively central to the city centre and lake. It offered a very convenient location to explore the city on foot. |

Very close to Luzern main railway station. Clean and modern decor. The room had minimal facilities - no minibar or tea/coffee facilities. I was woken up each morning by loud bells nearby. The hotel is quite soulless. |

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were small but well appointed and the staff were very helpful. We appreciated having the car park under the hotel. The location was perfect. The breakfast was fantastic and dinner at the restaurant there was outstanding. |

I liked it's proximity to the city. It was easy walking to the old city which is incredibly beautiful. It was close to the station but on a quiet street. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good, the breads excellent. The bedroom was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and very pleasant. Our room was across from the bell tower and the bells were very big and rang very loudly. Thankfully they stopped after 11pm but started up again at 6am. Why do bells have to ring at 6am? The air conditioner did not work very well so at night the windows needed opened which made the bells more irritating. |

The hotel is spacious enough with a touch of luxury. Our family had two rooms. Room size is more than adequate and rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. Hotel staff are responsive, helpful and personable. Garage is ample for full-size autos. The two elevators are used frequently by hotel cleaning staff especially in the afternoon to the detriment of clients. |

Staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is very near the train station and to go to places of interest is very convenient. Rooms are comfortable but the beds are a little too small.. I was given a smoking room despite requesting for a no-smoking room. Breakfast could have more variety. |

reception staff very friendly. Rest. very good. Service correct and good but distanced. Your breakfast is excellent I feld my room as being to small for a 4 star hotel. Furtheron I missed a bath and did not feel a 'agreable' atmosphere. It is a room to sleep, not to spend other time in it. All equipment is available . Internet I feel should be incl. in my opinion as it is in my Guesthouses in South Afrika . Ambience inn Afrika. |

The hotel is situated in a lovely area of Strasbourg and is a comfortable 20 minute walk to the Grand Ile On arrival, the receptionist's eyes rolled around her head when asked in French whether she spoke in English - she was curt and rather rude. The breakfast room is very, very tiny and accommodates few people. As stated in other reviews the breakfast bar is close to the tables and it is very squishy. |

The Hotel Waldstätterhof is located by the railway station, and is also close to the lake, the old town and the culture and congress centre. |
The Monopol Swiss Quality Hotel is the architecturally most fascinating hotel in Lucerne, resembling Parisian or Viennese palaces of the 19th century, and can be found right at the train station. |
There are several reasons why the word charming is used as an apt description of the DES BALANCES. Chief among them is the hotel's picturesque location on the River Reuss in the heart of Old Lucerne. |
Designed by the celebrated Parisian architect Jean Nouvel, the hotel is tranquilly and centrally situated next to a pleasant park in the heart of Lucerne. |
