Pleasantly quiet hotel

No fresh fruit served at trhe breakfat buffet. Why am I familiarly addresed as "Gerald"? See below.. My family or surname is thomas (a rarity in Switzerland).I Discovered on returning home that my wife's credit card was debited with the full accommodation charge on the date the booking was made,, 20th Aug.This was unknown to me when we were leaving the hotel on the 28th Sept. And the full charge was again debited . I will be demanding a refund.

Very handy for visitng the town and lake trip. Good facilities for parking our car.

Temporary arrangement for breakfast was adequate, but not really welcoming.

One small thing: no kettle in the room.

Great size rooms, great breakfast and goos service in the dinning room and in the reception. Great location.

Unefficiant airconditioning system, room is poorly furnished and looks like an office and not a hotel room.

Quick checkin -out. Tasty bread, Ringing of church in front of hotel. small but good park with child zone in front of hotel.location is very close to the station.

Small variation of breakfast for 5 days.

Location was excellent - walking distance from the train station and the chapel bridge and the lake. There is also a park right next to the hotel where kids can have fun.

the room facilities.like the beds,the pillows, the sheeth, rhe bath amenities, the towels, the curtain, etc.

Great location. Only one-minute walk to the train station platform. Very convenient. Room is very comfortable and clean. Internet online speed is high. If the price could be lowered, it must be much much better.

hotel is good,but a little over priced. overall ambiance,services is good.

there was no provision for kettle for hot water in the room.when i asked,i was told that,it is not a practice in switzerland to provide hot water for tea/coffe in the room and i have to pay separately if i need it.but when i reached my hotel in interlaken,i found an electric kettle in the room alongwith tea and coffe sachets.

Good location close to the railway station and within easy walking distance of the city centre and lake

Sadly the standard of food in the restaurant has declined since visiting a couple of years ago.

This a beautiful hotel with a pleasant staff! Very pricey for my budget but worth the occasional splurge! Delicious breakfast included with my room. Spectacular view of the Alps from my room.

Poor computer accessability.

The location is great only 2-3 minutes walk from the main station (but not noisy at all)and 5 minutes to the city. There are many restaurents near the hotel. The room is clean and comfort. The breakfast is good. The staff are helpful and professional. Free internet in the room.
