L'hotel Continental està situat davant de l'estació de tren de Lausana, a 10 minuts a peu del nucli antic i la zona comercial. Ofereix habitacions amb aire condicionat i cuina de qualitat. Les habitacions són per a no fumadors i ofereixen Wi-Fi gratuïta. Els clients de l'hotel podran fer servir gratuïtament la zona de negocis de l'hotel Continental. L'establiment disposa del restaurant Steak House Olympia, especialitzat en carns, que ofereix una gran varietat de carn i peix locals a la brasa. El restaurant asiàtic Boky serveix una selecció de plats asiàtics i el bar Olympia ofereix uns aperitius deliciosos. Podreu arribar a Evian, el poble francès famós per la seva aigua, en 30 minuts amb vaixell. Vevey i Montreux són a 30 minuts amb tren i les pistes d'esquí, com ara Les Diablerets i Verbier, són a 60 minuts. We booked room for double room for 2 nights and we upgraded to deluxe double room. So we were surprise and delighted by the upgrade of the room. It was really spacious hotel room with flat screen and have all the hotel facilities of 4 star hotels. we booked the room includes breakfast and it's breakfast is quite good and service is excellent. the location is excellent as it's just opposite the lausanne main station as we used it to traveled to other city such as Geneva and Montreux. Plenty of restaurants is available around the hotel. Overall the 2 night stay is our most posh hotels we been in our europe trip so far though it cost us a bit more.

Hotel was located in a convient location and the staff was very helpful. They gave us free passes for the local tranportation facilities which was very helpful and alsoinformation on how to use each. The pillows were very large and tended to get in the way often.

Very friendly and professional staff, perfect location - walk distance to the lake and the old city; in front of the railway station, but not noisy at all. Very useful thing is a free transportation card, presented by the hotel. Breakfast is ok, but not as you can expect at 4*, room is small - it's not easy to pass atownd the bed.

Good location - convenient to main train station. Metro light rail station was next door to station (the travel card for visitors to city is a great idea). Traffic noise was minimal. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Room was a good size with mini bar fridge. Continental buffet breakfast was well supplied and good variety. Price of mini bar refreshments were very expensive. Bathroom was a good size, but space was not used efficiently. Lacked shelf space, and towel railings.

Location! Right across from the station!! And we always come to Lausanne by train. Also, a lovely room with view of the lake, very nice bathroom and good soft pillows on the bed. The breakfast room is so cheerful and the staff very helpful. Food was delicious. The front desk staff was helpful too. We stayed here because of the price, which was lower than where we had stayed in Lausanne before, but now we will always stay at the Continental.

The location is very convenient to travel back and forth Palais Beaulieu by bus. The staff is very friendly and helpful in any situation and for any questions/requirements. Breakfast buffet offers a big variety of fresh food. I would request a bit more flexibility in dealing with small special requests in the bar area such as warming up croissants (filled with chocolate or ham). One of my recommendations would be to offer half portions for dinner in the Grill Restaurant especially for elderly people or persons who simply do not wish to overeat.

Staff and location were excellent! Not the standard you expect. Also very thin walls, I could even see the light from the corridor through cracks in the corner and wall by the door where there should normally be a solid wall.

This Hotel really is in heart of Lausanne and easy access to Train station and very clean and quite. Hotel breakfast isn't complete and is very poor.

When you arrive at Lausanne train station the look of the hotel may not be too inviting but inside it has been refurbished, the rooms are lovely, service is impeccable and they offer a very nice breakfast for the Suisse Romande. Breakfast was also included which is a bonus! Although it is directly opposite the station on a busy road it is quiet - good windows. Will definitely stay there again.

“The hotel was in the city centre very close to the station so it made day trips from Lausanne very easy but it was not noisy. They had a lovely garden with tables set out under trees where we could eat or have a drink. Breakfast was included and was lovely. We were also given a free pass for local transport.
