Continental Hotel Lausanne  

A localização é excelente. O atendimento, o café-da-manhã e o restaurante para as outras refeições são ótimos.

O quarto tem excelente aproveitamento com o uso dos espaços de maneira ergonomica e funcional, o banheiro tem espaço muito limitado, mas os seus equipamentos sanitários são de primeira lnha - chuveiro, ducha, torneiras com regulagem precisa e desenho ultra-moderno, banca de pia moderna em uma única peça, box em vidro temperado e aço inoxidável com design, piso e paredes em ceramicas paginadas - enfim, um banheiro tipo boutique, o quarto foi reformado a pouco tempo, estava com boa aparência e conservação. A portaria é funcional, mas muito simples, sem conforto, existe um sistema de controle de elevador por cartão - útil, mas um pouco incomodo.

Convenient location, very clean room, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff

Unfortunately the excellent location across from the station meant that it was noisy all night (I had to have the windows open as it was so hot)

Excellent location, very conveniently located next to the metro and opposite the main train station. Very polite and helpful staff. Would definitely like to stay there again.

Very friendly and professional staff, perfect location - walk distance to the lake and the old city; in front of the railway station, but not noisy at all. Very useful thing is a free transportation card, presented by the hotel.

Breakfast is ok, but not as you can expect at 4*, room is small - it's not easy to pass atownd the bed.

Good location - convenient to main train station. Metro light rail station was next door to station (the travel card for visitors to city is a great idea). Traffic noise was minimal. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Room was a good size with mini bar fridge. Continental buffet breakfast was well supplied and good variety.

Price of mini bar refreshments were very expensive. Bathroom was a good size, but space was not used efficiently. Lacked shelf space, and towel railings.

Location! Right across from the station!! And we always come to Lausanne by train. Also, a lovely room with view of the lake, very nice bathroom and good soft pillows on the bed. The breakfast room is so cheerful and the staff very helpful. Food was delicious. The front desk staff was helpful too. We stayed here because of the price, which was lower than where we had stayed in Lausanne before, but now we will always stay at the Continental.

Staff and location were excellent!

Not the standard you expect. Also very thin walls, I could even see the light from the corridor through cracks in the corner and wall by the door where there should normally be a solid wall.

When you arrive at Lausanne train station the look of the hotel may not be too inviting but inside it has been refurbished, the rooms are lovely, service is impeccable and they offer a very nice breakfast for the Suisse Romande. Breakfast was also included which is a bonus! Although it is directly opposite the station on a busy road it is quiet - good windows. Will definitely stay there again.
