Convenient and reasonable - generally very helpful staff Breakfast is expensive for what it is and tea/coffee very slow in coming - understaffed? |

Convenient. Near station. Used to stay often in this hotel in the past. The general attitude is one of indifference. It is certainly not as it used to be. |

Convenient postition. Across the road from the station. Spacious room and bathroom. Without exception the reception staff were unpleasant and not at all helfpful. I found it extraordinary that none of them could tell us where to catch the city tour bus, which was just down the road. We had quite heavy luggage, and are not young, but no one offered helped us to store it in the baggage area next to the reception desk, or even retrieve it for us.The breakfast was overpriced and below average quality. |

It was ok, spacious room and nice bathroom, but in general not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel The advertisements said that there was an airconditioning in the room but there was not one and it was very hot. The room was spacious but the furniture very old fashioned. |

8 floor, big hotel. The rooms are quite large, so is the bathroom. Nicely decorated, modern. Big lobby. The last floor is the breakfast room, you can overlook the city. It is located across from the train and tram station, so you can go around the city and be left right in front of your hotel. Very convenient! I would go again, and I would recommend it! |

I liked the central location and proximity to public transportation, shops, and restaurants. I was also an easy walk to Lake Geneva. The air conditioning was not very good and the room got a bit stuffy. |

Good location very close to the train station which is ideal if you want to go out of geneve for a day trip. Also very close to the famous lake geneve and shopping district. |

Location- next to station, easy walk to lake and old town. Despite central location, it was quiet thanks to good double windows and air conditioning which you could set yourself and which really worked. It is fine for a city stop over or short break: clean, central and quiet. |

Proximity to transport hubs (trains, trams, buses). Cleanliness of the room. Relatively fair internet price (CHF20 for one week, unlimited use or CHF5 per half an hour at the business centre). You can also print for free at the business centre. Breakfast is relatively cheaper at CHF19 with very good view of Geneva. I have stayed here for six days and didn't have any problems at all. I'm surprised about how unfair and untrue the other reviews were and was actually expecting the worse, but my experience proved otherwise. When I say relatively fair/cheaper, I'm comparing it to another hotel (Ramada Encore) where we stayed right after my stay in Hotel cornavin. Quick comparison of prices: Internet at Ramada is CHF17 for 24 hours; breakfast is CHF22 per person. ramada Encore rooms have no fridge either, you could pay if you want to ahve one in your room. If one would be extremely picky, they wouldn't like the 2 single beds that were joined together to form a double bed, but I'm guessing you could request to be transferred to a room that has a proper double bed. |

Excellent central location. Very clean room, good size with good size bathroom. Friendly staff. The double bed was two singles pushed together with two serarate duvets. The breakfast was generally OK but I did not expect tinned fruit for the price. Avoid the 7th floor- the breakfast area is above with coolers which hum very loudly all night and staff who begin work at about 4am. |

On-site restaurant You leave your luggage but they do not give you a ticket so they can not track this belongs to you. Somebody else can take off with your luggage as they do not have a clue if you take out your luggage... |

Our room was very quiet, beds were extremely comfortable and the view was nice. Breakfast buffet was way too expensive compared to what was offered, even though the restaurant itself was very nice with the panorama view. |

The room was lovely. Although near to the train station, my window looked onto the train station but the two double glazed windows meant that I never heard any of the noise. It is very handy for the train and also the tram into the centre is right outside the door and is only a five minute journey into the centre of town for all the shops. The resturant gives a gorgeous panoramic view of the city and the room was very modern with power shower and lovely arty chairs with many international TV channels. The fact that the reception staff gave out the keys to rooms on the say so of someone saying that they were room number "blah" without asking the person to verify their identity - not good! |

Centrally located, easy walk from train with two wheeled suitcases . a little noisy with voices outside at night, problem solved by closing the windows but would have preferred the windows open. Decent Swiss breakfast 15 francs. |

Clean, comfortable, central location, speedy processing at front desk, generally friendly. Even though indicated before arrival that I needed a parking slot no feedback was given to me on this. The hotel does not have a parking and I was not informed about this before getting to the front desk. It is difficult to get by car in front of hotel unless you know the city or take a taxi ride. |
