This new hotel boasts 40 rooms and apartments, combining comfort, design and technology, in 2 buildings dating from the 1850s which have been entirely renovated in 2006, and connected via an interior courtyard. La Cour des Augustins features a unique and totally specific style for each apartment and room. The modern, contemporary furniture and the objects in each room are created by well-known designers.

+ beautiful spacious loft with complete kitchen, + good air-condition, + very friendly & helpful staff, + breakfast up to 11am, + tram within 100m (4 or 5 stops to centre), + associated café bar opposite to entrance

- not the very best quarter, - no hotel bar or restaurant

The hotel is modern and beautiful. The room has a mini-kitchen and all
the necessities. It's also very close to the old town and public transit
yet very quiet. We loved the hotel and it's a comfortable place for us
to kick back after a long day in the city.

Pleasant and helpful staff; contemporary style was refreshing

Located in a (slightly) run-down area, bus ride from 'old town', but the buses were frequent and (since Jan 2008) free for tourists

we were able to lend some towels to go swimming after we already checked out.

for a four star hotel some staff members were a bit too casual and sometimes rather unfriendly.
