Hotel Couronne Superior  

Hotel is very nice, rooms clean and quite big. Wonderfull breakfest and view from breakfest restaurant.

I paid extra for view for Matterhorn. And what?? I got the worst room view from accesible rooms ( there was only 1/4 Matterhorn visable ). I asked for change for smaller room but better view but they didnt agree. They cheated me that all rooms are ocupated but it wasnt true. Hotel was almost empty. I dont like the staff and they servis. If you want to stay there, duble check which rooms they offered you if you pay extra for it.

The mountain view face to Matterhorn. Very nice. And the location is good. Not too busy and next to the river.

Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean. Loved the sauna. Good price for Zermatt.

reception area could be more welcoming/cosy some days there was only 1 choice of eggs (boiled) at breakfast

Location was great with wonderful view of the Matterhorn. Hotel is clean and modern and staff very friendly. I will definitely return.

Pity there was no Pool or Spa facilities

Clean and cozy room. Wonderful location in the heart of town and right next to the bus stop for the ski lift. Convenient ski rental shop in the hotel and ski room for storing equipment. Great breakfast with awesome views. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for ski and mountain trips

It's just perfectly located and the rooms are spacious for a skiresort, we loved the breakfast and the breakfastroom with view on the Matterhorn. Helpfull staff.

Rooms very warm.

Customer service was amazing. We could only stay one night because they were booked, but they let us leave our bags before check in and moved all of our bags to the room. The next day they allowed us to keep our bags until the evening when we moved into another hotel room. They normally leave their sauna off on Saturdays because it's a transition day, but they turned it back on for us without any hesitation. Ski storage had heaters for the boots and had video surveillance. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious and had a patio overlooking the Matterhorn. Good central location.

Excellent hotel.We stayed at the Couronne for one week and had the best time. The room was very spacious and had a mini fridge which was good for our groceries. It was very close to places to eat, drink, shops and the ski lifts. There was also a bus right outside which you could catch to take you to the ski lifts. Breakfast is served every morning in the breakfast room overlooking the mountains which was a beautiful view and the breakfast was delicious, they always had a good selection of meats, cheeses, breads, cereals and fruits and then changed the hot food daily to things such as eggs, bacon, baked beans, hash browns ect, The staff were also very friendly and were very helpful whenever we needed them. Best hotel so far on our trip around europe.

The only problem we had was that our double bed was just two single beds pushed together, not a big deal but would of preferred an actual double bed,

Staff was very friendly and efficient. Rooms are spacious enough. Hotel is centrally located in the village, near the stops for the ski bus.

The wi-fi wasn't working properly in our bedroom.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very clean and peaceful. We really enjoyed having a shower and being able to change clothes after skiing all day on the last day of our stay (after check out).

Warm, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Ski room was heated so boots were always dry in the morning. Great view of the Matterhorn. Convenient to the ski shuttle to the Schwarzsee. Close to the Kircheplatz where the New Year celebration was centered.

we never tried the hotel restaurant, which is prix fixe and served slot of pork, which we don't eat.

The reception and taxi services were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was outstanding. We appreciated the complimentary Welcome Drink next door -- a nice touch. We also were happy that the hotel made it easy for us to leave our bags so that we could ski before check-in when we arrived and after check-out on our last day.

The decor in the rooms is a bit dated, but not terrible at all.

the spa relaxing area is looking at a toilet and wall. It would be perfect if it was looking outside through a window.

View of the Matterhorn is superb. Room had all the bells and whistles and looked great. Great blend of modern and chalet charm.

Outstanding staff, lots of natural and other light in the room, wonderful views and delicious food.

Convenient location being less than 10 mins walk from station and all lifts. Deluxe rooms have outstanding view of the Matterhorn with balcony and extra bit of space. Excellent breakfast and good Wi-Fi connection included.

Nice rooms and friendly staff st breakfast and reception. Very convenient to go to the town as it is within walking distance Would stay at this hotel if we do go back to Zermatt
