Clean and nice hotel. The guest card can be used to ride the cable car for free.
Close to rail and transport Good bar and restaurant
We were on level 1 and there was noise coming up from restaurant, noise finished early.
The Creasta Hotel in Klosters Platz is located within walking distance from train station, bus station and cabled car for easy access into the Parsenn winter resort, which we found very convenient. Our room was modern and more spacious than we anticipated. Cleaning was impeccable. Staff were friendly and available at all time. The room was even equipped with a sofa and a flat screen TV including 20+ cable channels all in German, French or Italian. Wireless LAN was stable with adequate speed and capacity. The hotel has a nice sauna and a gym facility. The latter is decently equipped for a full body workout, maybe with a few minor exceptions. The hotel has a winter gear storage area in the basement, which is conveniently equipped with ski racks and racks for drying boots and mittens. Breakfast is what you can expect; nice and very adequate by most standards. Breakfast include eggs, bacon, cereals, bread, cold cuts, jam, cheese and hot drinks from a high end beverage machine. The restaurant has a decent á la carte kitchen including interesting and delicious local cuisines from the region. Of course the menu includes fondue. Dishes could do with a bit less salt to our tast, but this is highly individual. All in all we found the hotel to be very nice and indeed adequate. We are probably biased towards the functional end of the scale, rather than top tier accommodation. Based on our experience and perception of services and quality of those, we would definitely come back to this hotel.
Nothing significant to comment on.
We liked having the option of taking either the 4-course Half Board evening menu or eating a la carte.
No kettle in the room for a morning cup of tea before breakfast!
Location, nice staff
I liked the nice friendly, relaxed atmosphere, lovely rooms, and great location and reasonably priced meals!!
Great location of course, 5-10 minute walk to train station / cable car. Affordable restaurant attached. Easy check-in / check-out.
Sauna wasn't turned on during the day to heat up for after skiing, surprising as it was a Saturday. Sauna room shower had almost no hot water.
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and spoke English, staff was quick to respond to any need, the Resturant on site was a bonus and the food was fantastic, 2 minutes from trains, buses, food stores and 5 minutes to the ski hills. Would definitely stay again.
Bathroom not in room, cigar lounge in basement but smoke smell made it to the top floor and my room.
We were really impressed with the service and facilities we got. All our vital recommendations were fulfilled! I don't want to say too much good, otherwise everybody will go there and we'll not find a place any more there!
A pity that in the German speaking part of Switzerland double beds don't really exists and are often found out as two single beds put together...
