Location, style of hotel, view to Lake, balcony, staff
Everything, except restaurant and charging.
Restaurant was usual, nothing extraordinary, but was expected much more. It was 100 CHF charge on the second day of stay and some hours after it was return. Nobody could explain what was it.
the location was good and staff pleasant and helpful.
Very over priced breakfast, not worth the money. Only tinned fruit or whole oranges, bananas. Not enough tables for three mostly two settings. Poor storage space in the bedroom, tiny wardrobe and no drawers. No outside Christmas decorations compared with other hotels nearby.
This hotel has a classic feel to it. Comfortable and quiet room, and positioned on the lake in the centre of Geneva. Ideal
The hotel furniture is slightly old.
Great location, great room.
Noisy next to main road and staff a little over anxious that we were guests and we didn't conform to the normal guest stereotype....
First of all I wouls like to thank the front office manager Ms. Natalie Douhine for handling the booking mistake and solved the problem in a very short time , secondly thanks to Mr. mathew from concierge for his help during our stay and being so friendly with us , and of course many thanks for the great bellmen for being friendly and always smilling and ready to serve us. It was a stay that exceeded our expectations in being clean quiet friendly and chic hotel and great staff service. The only comment that we have regarding the car parking which costs 40 Euros which must be free gor a 5 star hotel , breakfast shoulf have more varieties and pillows should be changed for more comfortable ones. Other than that everything is perfect and turned our stay to a home feeling and for sure will be back again with no doubt.
Pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast should add more bakery and hot dishes varietes . Car parking should ne free.
A small buffet with very few products. Local produce missing. Would expect much more for 40 euros
I liked everything.
I prefer if the restaurant that serves breakfast has a terrace or curtains to be open to view the lake.
Loved the view from our room, the staff was very friendly and restaurant in the hotel Vertigo was excellent.
The bed was a bit too soft for our liking.
Pillows could be better
I liked it was a nice hotel ,lovely staff and excellent location
When you wolk in the room you hear the wood in some rooms
Everything. Staff were more than helpful. Our room was upgraded and we had the most beautiful suite with glorious views over the Lake and to Mont Blanc Nothing was too much trouble. Loved it
The rooms were stylish and well equipped. Nothing had been skimped on. In the room there were complimentary bottles of water, a coffee machine, lots of fluffy towels, wonderful slippers and bathrobes - even a shoe-shine kit. The toiletries smelt great and were obviously of a nice quality. There was lots of space to hang (soft padded hangers that you didn't have to unhook) and store clothes. The staff were attentive and friendly. The bar was a place that you would want to visit even if you weren't staying at the hotel. This hotel has become our new work favourite. I can't wait for my next visit.
Room was upgraded to junior suite
Room was very comfortable and immaculate.
the location is the best. the view from my romm was breathtaking. the staff was more than professional and kind, thank them for them for that, because I had a lot of issues to be settled the first 2-3 days and they were more than helpful and always with a sincere smile on their faces.
the room was a bit small, but the view compensated it over the top.
Location was excellent, room was exceptionally comfortable
Staff "disappeared" during breakfast time, had to look for them twice to place an order - no real sense of 'serving' guests. Checking out - the line was long to settle the bill, this was both inconvenient and time consuming. At the price charged, the hotel should - like some other hotels - offer free unlimited access to TV channels and movies, and not 'try' for another $20 for a viewing.
Excellent service, professional staff
Room was smelling cigar
Location infront of the lake - 5 mins from city center - 7 mins from railway station (cornavin main geneva station) - view of the lake and Jet d'Eau - friendly and very helpful informative staff - breakfast had items without pork
