Great location, staff was extremely helpful and very accommodating and friendly (we rented a car and the door man walked down the block to help us return it because the street in front of the hotel was closed at the time).
The only downside to the location was that when there was something going on riverfront (which happened twice while we were there), the street in front of the hotel was closed. However, as noted, the staff was very helpful on those occasions..
Good location，ang the stuff is very good, helping claiming our lost luggage.
Noisy, and the room is small. The shower is badly placed!
Service is excellent, location is perfect. I will come back again!
splendid building and location
bathroom not big enough to swing the proverbial cat, no safety rail on bath, no bidet, bedroom cramped, furniture tired, scratched, wire hanging out of mini bar. TV remote didn't work well. Noisy from main road by traffic lights.
Location is fantastic and the staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed my stay in a lovely city. Wayne, South Africa
For a 5 star hotel rooms probably need updating
The hotel is elegant -- a perfectly preserved jewel from the past. The staff and service were first rate.
Beautiful appointed guest rooms with well thought amenities to maximize confort. Magnificent views and impecable food ( both Room Service and restaurant)
It was very warm in Gevena, and while our guest room had perfect AC, the lobby and common areas didn't feel cool enough.
1. Hotel's staff we're extremely friendly and helpful. They always do there best to make you happy. 2. Hotel's location is a strategic key. 3. Hotel's amenities and facilities extremely clean and fresh.
1. Restaurants's food need to be re-visited. Les varieties available and attractiveness of unique dishes should be available in a such location. Choices of meat are limited. 2. Air conditioning system seams to be weak and old. Need renovation. Air comfort level is a critical criteria for all when they pay for 5 stars hotel. 3. Black N white needs to be revisited again by adding some lovely and modern colors.
Staff were great View and location is terrefic
Room wooden floors makes a noise while walking which makes you uncomfortable. Coffee machine is placed deep inside a drawer which makes it very difficult to use.
Their personal touch. The room size was good. The bed comfortable.
The bathroom. It was a shower over a tub and no screen. A bit of challenge to shower without flooding the rest of the bathroom. The bed was comfortable but two singles joined. If you slept in the middle it would split.
I have been there many times before and every time i stay there the quality never changes. It is still the best hotel for me.
The location is perfect and the staff was very professional and helpful. We were upgraded to a deluxe room overseeing the lake and the fountain, which was really spacious (around 50m) as well as its bathroom. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it t all!
The breakfast buffet was not up to the standard of a 5-star hotel especially for what you pay...
The way they running their business and the got or desire to help resident Also, the location and the sea view made the deference
We loved the location, right in front of the jet d'eau, and within walking distance of it all. The lobby smells like Bvlgari and entry flower arrangements were beautiful. The welcoming was warm, with a fresh orange juice and freshen up towelettes. We stayed at a deluxe room: The bed was one of the most comfortable ones we slept in throughout our trip in Europe. The bathrooms have Bvlgari toiletries which was very nice and the room in general was very well appointed (fresh fruit upon arrival, personal welcoming, turn down service). Loved the Nesspresso machine in the room. The staff were friendly and if a request we made was not possible they would offer an alternative instead of saying no.
I've stayed at this hotel many times before. While it has been redecorated and some renovations also did happen since I last stayed more than 10 years ago, the room we got was disappointing. It was small, noisy (it sounded like we were next to a laundry facility?) and tired. The bathroom in particular needs remodeling really bad to truly be a 5 star hotel. The bathtub/shower was most uncomfortable and after each use the entire bathroom was soaked. Breakfast was way overpriced for what you get.
.Lovely big room overlooking the lake and comfortable bed. Very friendly staff especially the bar staff.
The cold breakfast every morning with a poor choice for a 5 star hotel. The expensive restaurant
The people at the reception and concierge and door men all recognize us and many knew our name directly. This made us really taken care of! That made the stay feel extra luxerous.
The pianobar was not at the same perfect level as the rest of the Hotel
Location of the hotel , size of the room , tv and wifi working well
bathroom is oldish , not very modern shower , and very noisy when you open the window
Staff was freiendly and supportive.
Excellent restaurant. Room size. Friendliness of the staff. Cosines.
Uncomfortable bathroom despite that it is well equipped,as it has no door which affects privacy.
Staff were very helpful and always smiling
The location is very good, and the service is great.
1. No Breakfast when booked via booking.com. Had to pay extra 2. Compulsory deposit money
Excellent Staff who were very helpful in all matters regarding our stay.
Quiet room, friendly staff, impressed that you upgraded us to a junior suite, very elegant hotel
