Benefiting from a prime location opposite the Main Train Station of Geneva, Hotel Bernina is adjacent to a big shopping center and only a 5-minute walk from Lake Geneva.

Just 260 ft from Geneva’s Cornavin Train Station, this 3-star hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center of the city and Lake Geneva. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
Score from 1111 reviews Very good
The 3-star Astoria hotel is in the heart of Geneva, facing the Cornavin train station, and close to the business quarters and the UN, the UNHCR, the WTO and the WHO.
Score from 833 reviews Good
In the center of Geneva, the Montana is only a few steps from the Cornavin Train Station. It has modern rooms with soundproof windows, and has a daily breakfast buffet.
Score from 272 reviews Good
The beds were excellent, the staff is quite nice and the rooms have what is needed
Location is on the hedge of the red light district but it's also close to the city centre, so at the end it's OK
Central Location, well sited for transport and dining
The free travel pass for all public transport within Geneva.
Should have booked using their website and saved money.
Location was near lots of things. Easy to walk to everything
The noise!! My room faced Rue Des' Alpes and the car & truck noise was unbearable. Impossible to sleep. Noise all night. It was so loud I felt like I had to check if the window was actually open. It wasn't!
Location and quality one may expect from a 3* hotel.
Clean Comfortable Shower pressure Bath
Front desk was a bit rude on arrival Breakfast
Very close to Carnavin Station/Bus/Tram, Good Location, Excellent staff. You will find very good value for money!
The breakfast menu could be improved but it's OK!
Very helpful and very friendly staff at the reception
Very small room and bathroom . Very old furniture. Outside the window there were pigeons nesting and dirt all over.. Disappointing !! The reception staff polite but not well trained to answer questions.
The reception staff - competent, helpful and friendly
The pillows - they seemed to contain stones
low price. friendly staff. nice location close to everything. one minute walk to Central Train Station.
Very basic hotel. Rather hostel. Indicated flat screens in the rooms. Though the size of those flats are about size of my smartphone )))
Excellent location, staff friendly and helpful; room comfortable and in spite of location not too noisy; would highly recommend for business trips where location/transport facilitates getting around Geneva.
the location and the friendly staff and service
it was cold during the night and day in a room, i didn't have any heat at all, i have to dress up my shirt for my night stay
This was a well located hotel. Very clean and nice rooms in a good central location. Friendly staff and an ok breakfast included
breakfast was simple but adequate. good coffee, nice to be able to boil eggs, cold meat selection was adequate.
croissants were second grade. Not bad but not real croissants. I would have liked better selection of ham. (some jambon cru would be good.)
The location was fantastic - near the station and mid-class restaurants. The staff was friendly and was very accommodating.
The bathroom was bit leaky.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The facilities were on par for an older hotel in downtown Geneva. Inadequate closet space, cramped desk, and the internet was intermittent and slow. No AC, noisy outside and too hot at night requires opening the window.
TRES BON ACCUEIL. BONNE SITUATION.
LEGERE ODEUR DU RESTO VOISIN
Hotel des Alpes is not a high-range hotel, but it is clean, the staff is very helpful. The breakfast is not the fanciest you've had but it's also very much value for Money. I recommend this hotel as a good option if you get bored by large hotel chains that refuse to give more service then they Believe you have paid for. Hotel des Alpes gives you the service you deserve - excellent!
Ask for a room that doesn't have windows towards the street. It can be a little bit noisy and it's not worthwhile opening the windows because of the traffic.
Furniture a bit worn out.
staff so helpful to move me away from road side room (only poor thing about this hotel is the noise at the front). everything else is perfect - and I'm a seasoned business traveller. don't be put off by the red light district - some fab food and 'normal' bars around here... if you're not hunting for drugs or sex then the area is hassle free... 10 mins walk to the old town... 10 mins train to airport... love it
This hotel is in an excellent location within 5 minutes walk of the main train station, Lake Geneva and shops/restaurants. All hotels provide free passes for public transport making the whole city easily accessible. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast was a typical continental style but has an excellent choice and plenty of it.
Facing the street can be a little bit noisy on a weekend but not really a big problem.
Cennral location, comfortable room, tasty beakfast, near to the UN Palace, railway station, free public transport card..
A bit noisy street
