The hotel facilities and staff were wonderful especially for a romantic getaway for two. The hotel was not too far from the main train station so it was in a convienent location in the center of the action. While the price was expensive by US standards, it was reasonable for Lucrern and Europe in general. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

As others mentioned, pedestrian area is difficult to navigate for luggage. 27 CHF for parking/day is steep, but probably standard for area. Street side rooms are noisy. Restaurant much more expensive than ones nearby (although food was good). Had to get internet code from front desk every 24 hours.

The building itself had a very nice and oldfashioned decoration. The room was very clean, modern and had a great view. I would love to stay there again.

Restaurant very good and restaurant staff very helpful

Size of room for price. 3 star room in a 4 star hotel for a 5 star price. Reception staff were unhelpful and uncaring when problem was reported.

Lovely outlook from lake-view rooms. Quiet rooms. Good modern decor and excellent bathroom. Nice to have coffee-making facilities in the room but the machine is a bit elaborate! My request for easily accessible adjacent rooms was respected.

Very expensive bar and restaurant. Slow service. Prefer to have a breakfast-inclusive price

The check-in staff were attentive and helpful, the bar and restaurant has been recently renovated to a high standard. Very attractive hotel in a great location.

Even though our room was non-smoking, it did smell of stale cigarettes. Still, the view more than made up for this. My biggest issue was with the bar staff. We were given a complimentary drink on arrival, but when we went down, they largely ignored us. When we were finally served, both individuals we dealt with were aloof and arrogant. This was particularly dissapointing given the surroundings, and definitely inappropriate for a hotel of this calibre, no matter how unsophisticated we may have appeared.

Quiet and comfort of the room. Very tasteful renovation. Lovely restaurant-bar.

lobby. welcome efficient but not so personal. for car you must use valet parking at the price ofo CHF 27.00 per night, too high considering the access and location of the hotel. No alternative.
