Mooi hotel en gunstig gelegen in het centrum. Hotel en parking is alleen bereikbaar via een drukke winkelstraat met voetgangerszone, moet beter aangegeven worden door het hotel bij de boeking. |

De kamer was ruim en goed verzorgd. Het ontbijt is uitstekend. Het is heel moeilijk het hotel te bereiken voor de eerste keer.Dit heeft in se niets te maken met de kwaliteit en de uitstekende ligging van het hotel maar na een lange autorit van 750 km is het heel moeilijk te bereiken. |

Goede ontvangst, zeer schone luxe kamer, zeer schone luxe badkamer. Valet parking. Goed restaurant, uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet, Prachtige locatie en schitterend terras. Temperatuur 's nachts op de hotelkamer. Die was veel te hoog en kamers met airco zijn nog duurder. De aanwezige ventilator is niet voldoende. Met de ramen open slapen is geen optie vanwege geluidsoverlast van leveranciers en stadsgeluiden in het algemeen. |

prachtig gelegen hotel met zeer goede keuken. gelegenheid om buiten te eten met schitterend uitzicht over meer en historische binnenstad. zonder navigatiesysteem niet gemakkelijk te vinden. parkeren is nogal duur. |

ligging perfect aan het water, ontbijt fantastisch niet bereikbaar met auto; parkeren kan 500 meter verderop in parkeergarage. is geen probleem, maar niet goed gecomminiceerd (ook niet het hotel zelf welk ik gebeld heb) |

very good location. I booked for a city view and I got a lake view room! internet for free. Good not to have moquette on the floor but wood to get into the hotel you have a few steps to do and if you have an heavy luggage it is really painful |

The easy way to go arond within the city and the ambience the way in with the car which has been quite a challenge. More information should be given to the customers beforehand on the subject |

The location was great and the staff friendly We thought the breakfast was included until we were charged $54...they should tell you upon check in that there is a fee for breakfast. |

Fantastic location in City centre. Marvellous staff. Marvellous food and riverside dining. Noise from the street in the City facing rooms. Always book a river side room. Hot in the night as no air con available in our room |

We loved the view from our balconies over the river towards the church, it was very relaxing. Tea and coffee machine in the room was pretty hopeless and the cups were little more than thimbles - a minor grumble. |

Hotel des Balances is a beautiful hotel, perfectly located in Lucerne for seeing everything. Great restaurant, amazing views of the city, the old bridge and water tower, River Reuss, and Mt Pilatus. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Terrific place to see Lucerne. If the weather is even remotely warm, the rooms may prove uncomfortable. This is true throughout Europe. I knew this and requested (and received) an air conditioned room. The ac was not always adequate and this is with 75 degree f temps outside! The top floor has ac and would be unusable without ac since it is in effect the attic of the hotel. The ac struggles to keep up. |

We loved the location and our room on the fifth floor overlooking the river. The staff was very friendly and they offer a free welcome drink in the ir restaurant/bar. |

The hotel is located in the middle of the old city, on the lake, 10 meters from the KappelBrucke. The view from the room was amaizing, the room was very clean and well furnished with a large bathroom. very good value for money! it is lovely and recommended for a honeymoon. Nothing, everything was excellent¨! |

It is a beautiful place. The hotel is excellent, outstanding. The only minus is lack of air conditioning, which was not too bad in April (spring). The only minus was the lack of air conditioning system. In spring it got too warm sometimes, and we had to keep the room doors open. Nothing too bad though. |
