Price, Nice rooms, Free wireless. The floors are made from old parquet, and the sound of creaking on the floor above is quite unbearable, esp late in the night, or early in the morning |

Lovely staff, large bright and airy room, very comfortable bed; facilities for massage As the hotel has floorboards (which I did like) rather than carpet, it could be quite noisy at times as we could hear people moving around upstairs - could be a problem at night-time; there was no toaster in the breakfast room for guests to use. |

A lovely small hotel, great location near the lake and with brilliant tram links.The Staff were very welcoming, professional and the rooms well maintained. Breakfast was an added bonus. Highly recommended and very good value. |

The Spa (only for women) is great!!! the roof top is a good place to chill at the end of the day or after a spa treatment. |

Apart from the avoidable noise from the wooden floors everything else from the breakfast, the location, the very helpful staff to the character of the building are huge positives. All these things did outwiegh the floor noise and I did knopw before stating that this was the case and the hotel was top drawer. Just the wooden floors not having any runners/capet or rugs to soften the noises - the room above any movement during the night was amplified to be be very noisy while we were sleeping. |

We travel quite a bit - we stay in something like five hotels a year. I must say that this one turned out to give the best welcome to us. The room was good, the breakfast was hefty, the amenities were complete. If you don't mind staying about 10 minutes outside of the center of Zurich, this is an excellent choice. Squeaky floors. |

Service was excellent. Very good location.Extremely clean and pleasant. I would have liked to have ac in the room. I understand that it is a historical building and that kind of renovation is not permitted in the city, but it was a bit of a problem at night - no privacy if we opened open the drapes...with the lights on.. |
