Hotel Dischma    

The staff was one of the friendliest I have ever seen. Breakfasts were great, too (including prosecco!).

The walls are quite thin, and we happened to have a very lively family next door.

Friendly staff, excellent beds, good layout of room - with separate bathroom/wardrobe area from sleeping area. Very friendly wait service at breakfast. Great assortment and tasty food. Comfortable parlor for talking with friends.

Amazingly convenient location, walking distance from Lugano Paradiso and San Salvatore funicular. We were 4 adults - Got a nice double bed and a bunk bed, which was superb. The view is lovely - mountains when you wake up :) and the furnishings quite vintage and posh. Cleanliness is taken care of. Breakfast is sumptuous and the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. I would recommend to all my friends when they visit Lugano.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was is a good position relative to the tourist attractions.

The address was given as Lugano which made it hard to find as we couldn't get the address into the gps. Their correct address, which does go into the gps, is Paradisio. The correct address will help future travellers using a gps.

Nice Breakfast Friendly staff

The staff were exceptionally friendly and at breakfast we were presented with a huge range of foods and drinks.

The room was rather small.

Great location close to the lake and to the funicular. Spacious and comfortable room with a balcony and a nice view of the mountain San Salvatore. The personell was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

The staff in Dischma are super helpful, thoughtful, devoted. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. From food choices, quality and variety, these staff planned and worked with their hearts. They made us want to go back and stay at Dischma next time. The services provided by the staff were very thoughtful, gave us some personal attentions. It was such a nice feeling to see the staff... Hotel lobby salon was a great place to chill and meet with friends. Hotel location is very convenient, 3-minute walking distance to lake Lugano.

Bathroom for our family was small and too basic. It needs to be improved.

The location as fantastic and the staff were all wonderful!

The bed and the pillows given weren't very comfortable. Aside from that, all was more than satisfactory.

We were like guest in a family, can not describe the worm feeling we had, Suzy and her sun Patrick were so nice and helpful in every thing, we do thank them so much for the 3 lovely days we spend

The staff was very friendly. The location was great with good connection to public transport. The breakfast was wonderful and had a lot of variety and novelties!

Great location. Roomy accommodation. More economical than many hotels in Lugano. Just off a bus line from the train station - easy access by public transportation. Just off the main streets, so very quiet. There is a restaurant in the hotel, though we didn't eat there.

There was no coffee provided in the room. They were happy to provide us with a water kettle, though, as well as cups, spoons, and sugar. We always travel with our own tea and coffee, just in case, so we were fine.

Good location, friendly staff.

We loved the Dischma Hotel. It is in a perfect location, easy to get to from the main train station, and right next to the funicular going up to Monte San Salvatore, and also near Lake Lugano. The hotel itself has beautiful decor inside, with reproductions of every painting you can imagine. The rooms are lovely, with every amenity provided, and each has a good sized balcony, with great views. The breakfast they provide is divine...and the staff are friendly and courteous. We were served breakfast each morning in the garden by the nicest people. We would stay at the Dischma whenever we are in Lugano next, and recommend it highly to anyone who is considering visiting the city.

We loved the hotel, and can find nothing negative to say about it.

Great service and nice people.

Located only two blocks from the lake in quiet area. Can walk into town.Breakfast was complete with proseco for breakfast if you'd like. Staff helpful and friendly. Had two elevators., a/c and small fridge in room.
