central location friendly staff comfortable room
Location, modern design, breakfast
The room was small, I felt like being in a Japanese hotel :-)
In the city center of St Gallen
Very spacious, clean and modern hotel room with a balcony. Firm beds and pillows which were super comfy. Located in the heart of the old town and within easy walking distance of the train station. Nice buffet breakfast selection. Very friendly staff!
The shower head was difficult to adjust and moved around a lot while showering, especially as the water pressure was adjusted. Logging into the wifi was also a bit cumbersome.
Small room but very clean, Good positioned,
Staff not very helpful/friendly No basic things as shower caps...
No minibar!! Amenities missing (shoe horn etc.) Breakfast may be imprved
- excellent value for money - nice breakfast buffet - very friendly and helpful staff - great location in St. Gallen old town in easy walking distance to main train station
... stayed one night only :-)
Apmosphere is great
Amazing location close to the cathedral. Clean and comfortable.
No iron or ironing board available
The location is excellent. Staff friendly and supportive. Great clean facilities.
The bed was a bit squeaky, but nothing major. The breakfast ending time could be a little later, if one wanted to spend a bit more time in bed on the weekend. Other than those, everything else was great.
Superb location in historic section of St. Gallen, close to excellent restaurants, events, shopping and points of interest. Extremely clever and artistic contemporary remodel takes full advantage of smallish rooms in an old hotel building. St. Gallen itself is simply extraordinary.
Expensive ... but worth it.
Minimalist decor; high quality art-oriented.
Limited TV channels
fabulous breakfast and very comfy bed and location and decor
very late check-in 15.00
The design of the rooms is great overall and the fact that one can have coffee or tea for free at any moment made us feel welcome. The location couldn't be better.
The bathroom door. It is a sliding type of design made of glass, that leaves a gap when closing. Therefore, the privacy you get is not great!
Good locTION - little problem to get to the prking in case of events. Nice design
Beds are horrible
The staff are really really attentive and pleasant and make a special effort to give the best service! The rooms are extremely clean, airy and with lots of light. The complimentary bottle of water is very welcome!
I could make a change in my reservation without a problem. So, the people at the reservation desk were very friendly, flexible and kind. The rooms are great, very clean with a nice design. The hotel is near the train station, what is practical All in all the hotel can be recommended.
I stayed in the hotel for the second time. Both times i was not so content with the service at breakfast. The breakfast itself is very good, the food is very fresh. But i had the impression, that the staff doesn't work with much motivation. So, the first morning already ten minutes before closure of the brakfast, there were nomore glasses for the orange juice, i had to ask for a knife and a fork. Then, i wanted to have a coffee again. But the service didn't wanted to see me. Instead two people were doing nothing, so that i had to stand up and go to them for to be served. Then, when they bring the coffee, they don't put the cup on the plate, where it belongs to, just put it right on the table. So, one has to put the cup oneself on the plate. So, it is not what is called a fine, delicate service. Here, the hotel could improve still a lot
modern, descent and great location and staff.
bit overprized (but its Switserland....) Open shower leads to annoying sound during the night.
The interior design is stunning. Who signed it ?
Asked for late checkout but the staff did not comply even for 2 hours which is surprising as the usally check in time is 3pm and I had asked for checkout at 2pm.
Friendly people, serving the needs of the traveler, excellent food, good location. J. Rant, Ljubljana, Slovenia
No item to blame.
Really convenient, located in the center of the city. Modern and well renovated. Good breakfast.
General atmosphere, friendly staff, room design, balcony.
the sink didn't drain, the light switches were tricky, the shower couldn't stay in place when in its holder, so only worked handheld. One morning I had an early bite to eat and then a meeting, came back for a coffee whike it was still breakfast and was charged for it, because I had already been in the restaurant, though I hadn't had coffee and had barely eaten earlier. This seemed odd and not so nice.
Location. Close to Old City
Door to bathroom. Terrible design. No privacy
Good position, in the city centre and 5 minutes walk to the rail station. nice and clean room, good idea the self-service bar at the first floor. the breackfast is good
As all the hotels in switzerland, it's a little expensive.
