This family friendly vacation and hiking hotel offers warm hospitality in the center of town. It is 165 ft from the bus stop to Saas-Fee and the Saas-Almagell dam. There is direct to the cross country skiing slope (16 miles long). The hotel is 1300 ft to the gondola that brings you to the skiing region of Saas-Grund/Hohsaas, and is just a 5 minute walk from the ice skating rink, tennis court and soccer field. Hotel Rooms: 18

Very friendly staff. Convenient location at Saas Grund center near bridge.Rooms have nice view to mountains. TV is very small and must be changed Loudness of Tv speakers is so low that you cant hear TV with opened windows.Hair dryer in bathroom also must be changed.

Very friendly staff, who speak good english. Staff was very willing to help with any questions we had. Fine restaurant. Good room with exellent bad and shower. In the center of the village and close to Saas Fee.

We stayed at "Dom" located in Saas Grund to do skiing at Saas Fee. We left the car in the hotel parking (free of charge) and took a bus to go up to Saas Fee (10 minutes), which spared me to pay parking charge in the huge parking-building at Saas Fee. The hotel is very well located, because you are practically next to the bus station. The hotel room is clean, although with minimum comfort, but the room rate is a bargain. The restaurant is not bad, and all the employee speak good English. In short: a good cost-performance for skiers who are interested to ski at Saas Fee, which I think is one of the best skiing resort in Switzerland. Do not expect CNN or BBC, because there is no cable TV. Not even French language TV broadcasting. Only German programs. A bit tough for people like us who are almost zero in German.

Der Hotelier und das Personal sind sehr, sehr freundlich und unterstützen die Gäste, wenn dies gewünscht wird. Es wurde uns ein Lunch angeboten, da wir vor der Frühstückszeit weg waren. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein und veraltet, aber sauber. Der Preis, den wir für dieses Zimmer bezahlten, war okay. Der Preis, der im Schrank stand, wäre für dieses Zimmer nicht gerechtfertigt gewesen, finden wir. 8.00 Uhr ist spät für die Frühstückszeit. Wanderer und Bergsteiger sind früher unterwegs.

Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich. Das Essen war super gewesen. Beim Nachtessen hatten wir Servicepersonal die ihren Job verstand. Leider war das Früestück um viertel nach acht noch nicht bereit.

Cet hôtel est équipé d'un local pour les skis. le personnel est très convivial. On y mange très bien et pour des prix raisonnables. Les matelas sont très mous. Les grandes personnes ne peuvent pas s'étendre dans leur lit. La baignoire mériterait un bon détartrage.

Nous avons trouvé un personnel compétent, accueillant et chaleureux. La cuisine régionale nous a plu par la qualité des produits et par l'art du cuisinier. Qualité, tranquillité, beauté des paysages donnent envie d'y retourner.

redelijk ruime kamers, lekker eten in het restaurant. bedden zijn van slechte kwaliteit. alle kamers hebben een balkon maar deze zijn niet altijd van elkaar gescheiden zodat je met 4 andere kamers het lange balkon moet delen.

La cena en el propio restaurante del hotel estaba muy bien, con el personal del restaurante muy atento. Al ser verano, para la zona en que está, sale bastante bien de precio y es un buen hotel. La chica de la entrada era nueva y no se enteraba a la hora de cobrar ni de dar las habitaciones.

On m'a laissé gentiment laissé parqer ma viture le lendemain pendant une course en montagne LLe petit déjeuner seulement à 8 H. Pour un pays de randonnée en montagne matinale, c'est dommage. On vous le propose plus tôt, mais je ne me sentais pas à l'aise de le demander seulement pour moi

Endroit très bien situé dans la vallée de Saas. Proche de nombreux commerces et restaurants. Nombreux buts d'excursions et de randonnées en montagne. Plutôt bruyant le matin assez tôt car situé en bord de route principale.

Personnel super serviable et heureux de travailler avec des touristes. Bonne literie. Repas et petit-déj' : c'est leur cuisine, ça se voit et c'est bon. Excellents röstis. Y compris les "tous simples"; un vrai repas, en soi.

Prima ligging, parkeren bij het hotel. De voorzieningen waren zeer goed maar de prijs was daar net te hoog voor. Een viersterren prijs voor een drie sterren hotel.
