It was very central and in easy walk of the train station. Lady on reception spoke good english I really could not recommend this hotel. There was one shared toilet and shower covering a full floor of sat 15 rooms. The decor is worn and dusty. The wall between my room and next door was plasterboard or very thin. The first night I was kep awake by a couple til 3pm the second night by a family arguinfg again until 3 pm. Probably the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in.

Very good location for rail trips around S.E. Switzerland ,also to enjoy the old city and local hikes, the desk staff were very helpful with some hiking trips around Arosa etc .The breakfast buffet was very good and we enjoyed several excellent dinners in the restraunte, we wre even given a hand with our luggage when leaving.A Very nice stay for a reasonable price. For us seniors a problem getting heavy luggage up to the reception desk from the street level, rather a huff and puff up the stairs.

The rooms are clean and small, comfortable beds and a lift to each floor from the 2nd floor reception. Good restayrant in hotel. There is a nice breakfast room. The hotel reception is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator or bellman. You must drag your bags up 1 floor of long carpeted steps.

Excellent hotel. Room was clean and staff were friendly. It was also easy to find and quiet in winter. Very good value for money and near to shops, restaurants and the old town. There is nothing that I dislike about the hotel. I would highly recommend the hotel however I do not know whether it is the same in summer.

Our allocated room was unsuitable (newly redecorated and still a strong smell of paint), but the staff swiftly arranged a suitable alternative. Room heating not sufficient - although staff did provide a mini heater on request.

The desk clerk , I don't know his name, was very friendly to us. Our first morning there we woke up late and he asked the breakfast staff to hold breakfast for us. We really appreciated that a lot. Just the fact that we could hear the people next to us leaving at 4 am, because the the connecting door. But we only heard them that one time....oh and the fact that the morning we were leaving the power went out and then came back then went out and back....several times!!!

Prices were good and the restaurant is a value for the money. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The beds were hard as a rock and we did not sleep well at all.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, good access to the train station. I first thought the price was too expensive (125chf for double room with the shared bathroom), but overall it seems reasonable in this expensive country. Wifi was not working in our room. One bathroom (one toilet, one shower room) for each floor.

We loved the decor of the room, it's nearness to everything in the lovely city of Chur, the fact that it was on the Bernina Express rail- line, the varied breakfast and the helpful staff.

The reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.I Was leaving the next day at around 6am to catch a train and they offered to put 'some coffee' out for my breakfast as it was before breakfast started. When I went to the designated place there was a pot of coffee, bottle of orange juice, boiled egg, couple of brotchen, cheeses and a croissant. Excellent service.

We loved the location in the old city. Easy to walk to the train station. The church bells should start at 7:00 Am and not at 6. The old town was totally clean. The breakfast with the colord hard cooked eggs was excellent Free Wi-Fi was much appreciated. No double rooms were avbailable so we took the triple. No complaints...no elevator to go to lobby from the street...but in an old building, not possible. I do not know if this was noted in the hotel description. It should be noted that it is not handicap accessible.

The hotel was very comfortable. The room was smart and modern, and the breakfast was served on time at 7am by friendly staff. It is well positioned for shops and the railway station, and has a lot of character. Reception is on the first floor, with no lift to access it.

Located in the midst of very picturesque downtown During my stay the hotel was running some sort of reception that was very noisy well into early hours of the next morning. Apparently, the management didn't consider guests' comfort since the noise (including very loud music) was very intrusive despite all windows and doors in the room shut. I travel every week and stayed in a very broad variety of all kinds of hotels during last 20 years or so. This is very first time I ever remember such disregard of the guests peace. I would expect the hotel staff protective of the peace at least after 11pm
