The cost was excellent. And the location as well, close to the parking garage and I could walk to do shopping in Lausanne. The breakfast, though across the street, was very good and the staff at that restaurant nice.

Hotel was clean and confortable. That was the only things that mattered to me. Was confused by the fact that there was no reception. The check in was ok and received good instructions on the phone, but still, the fact that nobody welcomes you in a hotel is a bit weird.

I was expecting kitchen in a room - it was not there. Shower was not working - no one fixed it while I stayed there. Breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant and is very bad - I went there only the 1st day.

The hotel is a short walk from the train station and the old town. The entrance is more disconcerting than I expected. You push a button and then go inside to await further instructions. The posted instructions are in a dialect of English never spoken heretofore, but the anonymous, faceless voice on the other end spoke English well. With no staff on site, there is no one to orient you to the city.

This hotel is a small apartment and has a very small kitchen. It is conviently located, near the Lausanne train station and within walking distance to the lake. The cooking facility is very limited, only a small frying pan. The tv is tiny, one bulb on the ceiling does not work.

Spacious room with a kitchen annexe. Well-appointed and very easy walk from the railway station. There is a laundry downstairs, but make sure you have the right change in Swiss francs. Fridge had iced up. The non-on site management is slightly off putting. Local restaurants seem to be very expensive.

We live in a junior suite with a kitchenette, which is very useful for us. The hotel is in general clean and convenient. The staffs are very nice and the free wifi is very good. Also, the free croissant in the morning is very nice. There is no lift use during our stay. That is very inconvenient as we have lots of luggage with us.

Amazingly this hotel is very good considered the dodgy looking entrance and no reception. Rooms were like a palace, bathrooms clean and equipped, and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No reception. You enter the hotel by pressing a button on the outside wall whilst standing in a dodgy alleyway. A woman then speaks through an intercom and lets you in the entrance. She then phones you and gives instructions to press a code into a wall mounted panel. Once you have done that a box opens on the wall next to your room number and your key is in there.

The location was great - close to the station, but at the same time in nice area. However it is its only advantage. The check-in system. It's sort of electronic only, but not really modern - in the begnining you have to ring, so that someone will open you a door. Then you have to call again to get your keys etc. I am not picky, but I had some spiders in my room (not being afraid of them, but I do not think they should be in a hotel). When I came to my room the bathroom's window was open and it was freezing outside, so all room was pretty cold. Overall, I would not say it is 3 star hotel. Very, very basic and spartan, but ok if you need a place to stay for a night close to the train station.

Great location. Spacious and clean room. Great view of Lake Geneva and the city of Lausanne from our room. The amenities advertised including a "kitchenette" that represented a refrigerator and a small kettle to boil water. Would have like to have had a microwave or small cooktop.

the hotel provided for all our family needs. Travelling with a young child can be challenging, however being assigned a comfortable room with a small kitchen, good cot and elevator near by on the 4th floor made this business/family break worth while. We would definitely return. Provision of integrated bus, metro and train travel card was great for getting around with out the hassle of buying tickets. Internet access was stable and the connection good. This is not a top of the range hotel, however for a building that is over 100 years old the old lady is holding up well. The option for breakfast is not worth taking up as this is served in an off site restaurant. Within touching distance there are lots of reasonably priced alternatives which are well worth trying out.

Good location between city cente and the lake, large and comfortable bed, a nice touch of a basket of complimentary croissants in the morning. It would have been nice if there was a staffed reception or someone meeting you on-site, rather than havng to check yourself in via telephone.

Excellent location and good value for money Unclear indications about the different procedures (check in, internet connection,...), which is especially confusing in an hotel without a traditional reception desk. Some indications were obsolete, or not totally updated. The most clear example is about the way the get internet connection: three different procedures were displayed (one referring to an non-existen printer), and Hotel staff was not helpful to clarify which was the correct one. Finally, it seems like internet connection did not work that night due to a technical problem. I received their appologies next morning, when they finally fixed the problem, but I had already checked out.

The room ( the room at the highest floor) was pretty good and the price, compared to other hotels in Lausanne was not expensive. Clean and spacious room. No shower, but unconfortable bath. Old hairdryer. No reception, just interphone. It is an electronic hotel.
