Hôtel du Cerf  

Staff of the hotel was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant served great meals.

Landlady and staff very friendly and welcoming. Hotel and the spacious room are clean and tidy in the classic swiss style. Lovely location in Swiss Alps just 8 miles from Aigle and motorway. Last but not least the restaurant with a nice traditional menu. I choosed cheese fondue and rosti and either were delicious. I really recommend this hotel to everybody.

We all received excellent new rooms which could more accurately be described as suites. An excellent evening meal with a lively atmosphere and a band playing the night we stayed! I managed to leave some clothing behind which was very kindly returned by post to the UK - completely unsolicited.

Lovely newly refurbished room (No. 21); a good sized sitting area with the bed on a mezzanine; quality bathroom; excellent food in the restaurant. Free parking. Quiet - fantastic night sky. Lively 'locals' in the bar - typical french/swiss - dropped in, drank and chatted, moved on, nothing rowdy just simple and relaxed.

Wall sockets need the 'diamond shaped' two pin plugs for your phone charger etc. - so my travel adaptors were no use. Very warm in the room even though I put the radiator on minimum - of course, others would love this about the room! No satellite on the TV (yet? It all seemed very new) which would be a good thing if my kids were with me [they'd not be stuck in front of it] but a bad thing as I was on my own on this occasion! But these are very trivial matters and I didn't 'dislike' them as such, I'm simply mentioning them.

Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt im Hotel du Cerf, schon beim Kaffee auf der Terrasse! Wir können dieses Hotel nur weiter empfehlen.

Son acceuil,sa restauration,la decoration chaleureuse. La possibilité d être en une quinzaine de minutes rendus aux Diablerets et à trente minutes des bains de Lavaix parfait pour se detendre après une journée de ski

Tout correspondait aux attentes (hormis la télé "décorative" dans un des deux chambres du logement)

Chambre avec mezzanine

Mi è piaciuta la cordialità e la familiarità del trattamento. La sua posizione a 4 km da Leysen paese montano caratteristico, a 12 km da Aigle centro turistico vicino al lago Lemano. Camera ampia e ben arredata. Hotel nuovo o rinnovato di recente, tranquillità, sono stato davvero bene.

Das Zimmer war wunderschön mit Holz gearbeitet, gross und sauber. Die Lounge im 1. Stock mit Sofas, Fernseher und Cheminée lädt zum verweilen ein. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war phantastisch! Vor allem die 15 Sorten der Rösti sind empfehlenswert. Auch das Frühstück war lecker.
