Hotel Du Nord  

The hotel was conveniently located for our purposes. The breakfast was good. I would have rated it a better value for money, but have a difficult time doing that in Switzerland in general, as the hotel prices are unreasonable seemingly everywhere in the country! We were concerned at first about the church bells ringing every 15 minutes, but thankfully they stopped about 10 pm!!

Rooms good. Breakfast excellent.

Ad said parking on site no reservation needed. Our group had three cars and there was not parking available at the hotel for them. We were told to use the school playground just up the road which was ok. I don't know what we would have done if the school hadn't been closed for summer hols though.

Near to the train station in a quite little village

I loved the Hotel Du Nord, our view from the 5th floor overlooked the village below and the hillside covered with vineyards and the swiss homes, and the mountians in the distance. The innkeeper was most pleasant and spoke good english, which was a real plus. It is a five minute walk down to the train station. Also, the swiss breakfast was great, several different jams, cheeses, breads and cereals, and the best coffee !! I highly recommend this hotel !!

Beaucoup trop cher pour les prestations fournies ! Ne vaut pas du tout le prix indiqué surtout pour une ville comme Aigle.

La ubicación es excelente, en el centro del pueblo (que por cierto es muy agradable) y comunicado en línea recta andando con la estación de tren. Justo enfrente está la oficina de información y turismo y hay una chica que habla español que nos atendió muy bien. El personal es amable y el desayuno es sencillo pero bastante completo (buffet). El hotel es muy recomendable como punto base para hacer excursiones a la montaña, la ciudad de Montreux y otros lugares del lago Leman.

Da la sensación que se ha quedado algo desfasado. Es decir, el mobiliario, lámparas, hilo musical te hace volver a los años 60-70.
