Everything, especially the service and the spa room!

Convenient location a short walk from the train station and surrounded by the (small) old town with bars and restaurants. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Der Ventilator im Bad läuft laut und unrund und der Lack der Gleitschiene der Duschwand bläätert teilweise ab.

Einfaches aber gutes Hotel. Im *** Bereich sehr zu empfehlen.

Fernseher defekt

Das Personal war aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer, insbesondere die Nasszellen, waren in einem sehr guten Zustand und serh sauber. Man merkt, dass die Besitzer das Hotel führen und sich engagieren.

Die Familie, welches das Hotel führt war ausserordentlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben es sehr genossen und wer einen Jacuzzi mag, Zimmer 61 war super!

チェックイン時間を伝えていたのに、フロントには誰もおらず、レストランにその旨伝えに行くと、ちょっと待- てと言われ３０分以上も待たされた。部屋も予約したタイプとは違い、フロントに電話するも誰も出ず。

Es war sehr sauber und angenehm ruhig!

Kein Parking Lärm in der Nacht

Servicegericht. We kwamen in de avond en er waren geen restaurants meer open. Toen werd er voor ons nog een kleine maaltijd (sandwich e.d.) gemaakt. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. De bedden zijn erg comfortabel. Ontbijt niet overdadig, maar zeker goed. Locatie uitstekend, in de binnenstad en vlak bij de Simplon pas.

Alles was in orde, we komen er graag terug.

Les voisins du dessus ont fait du bruit et mis en route le jacuzzi de minuit à deux heures. Impossible de dormir...

Nice family owned hotel. Very friendly and helpful owners. We had a quiet room to the courtyard.

Lage, Freundlichkeit der Inhaber

Die beschreibende Begrifflichkeit "zentral aber trotzdem ruhig" ist absolut gelogen! Auch wenn grad keine Fussball-EM stattfindet, der Platz vor dem Hotel bleibt ein zentraler Versammlungsplatz für feierfreudige Walliser, ergo ist die Nachtruhe genau 15 Minuten lang, zwischen 3.30h wenn alle schlafen gehen und 3.45h, wenn der Aufbau der Marktstände (Samstags) beginnt, kann man wunderbar schlafen.

The room was clean and spacious.

I checked out after two days although I had to stay there one week beacuse of incredible rude behaviour of the young son of the hotel owner. His rude communication and yelling at me in the hotel restaurant full of other guests was not acceptable at all and I did not experience anything like that in my whole life (I travel at least twice a month in different countries all over the world for bussines). The reason was my question regarding two fried eggs after 25 minutes of waiting! I could not eat honey or marmelade for breakfast because of diabetes but to ask for something different than their poore breakfast was just a problem. The other problem was that Internet did not work at all and they could not connect the phone calls to my room. The same young man explained to my husband calling me from Germany that it is ridiculous nowdays to ask for such a servise because we can talk over cell phone or I could go to the main railway station and use the phone box there!? When I asked to talk to the hotel director/manager I was told that he is not availabe because "he is watering the salade in their garden"!? I moved out of that family run hotel although other hotels were fully booked and I did not know where I will sleep next few days. I will never go there again.

Das Hotel und die Einrichtung haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Sehr schönes altes Haus mit stilvoll und modern eingerichteten Zimmern.

Es fehlte ein Kühlschrank und das Hotel steht dirket neben der Kirche, die alle Viertelstunden schlägt. Deshalb konnte ich in der ersten Nacht nicht schlafen, es besserte sich in der zweiten.

Clearly a family run hotel which gives it a comfortable and welcoming feel. Food very good, especially the fantastically priced (at least compared to average swiss price) 3 course menu. A lot of attention paid to service and way food is presented,nice terace, good wine selection

A lot of noise in the weekend from "party goers" up until early hours of the morning. In the summer, when you cant close the window due to heat, it made it difficult to sleep. Not the hotels fault, but we would not come again purely for that reason. We would eat there again though

Wir durften bis 11.00 Uhr im Zimmer bleiben und haben dies auch genutzt, allerdings in der Annahme, dass wir so späht bestimmt kein Frühstück mehr erhalten. Was für eine schöne Überraschung als wir aber doch an den Tisch gebeten wurden und uns ein prima Frühstück serviert wurde. Auf unseren Wunsch wurden Spiegeleier mit Speck zubereitet und nicht mal extra verrechnet. Seit langem wiedermal eine tolle Erfahrung in der Schweizer Hotelerie.

Accueil très cordial

スタッフはとても優しく、英語も上手にしゃべれました。 設備は若干古かったですが、とても清潔でした。 Staffs are very warmhearted and speak English well. Facilities are little old but very clean.
