Parkhotel du Sauvage  

Good central location in Meiringen. Very comfortable airy modern room with beautiful view across to the mountains. Staff were genuinely very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent - good choice, well set out with little labels stating what everything was. Scrambled egg, bacon and boiled eggs every morning for those wanting a hot breakfast. Hotel atmosphere was very easy going and relaxing. It was also quiet. The hotel had an excellent a la carte restaurant in the grounds for evening meals.

I thought the hotel was very expensive and therefore did not give value for money. However I wanted to do mountain walking in this area and because of its excellent central location I felt it was worth paying the amount charged. There was a mini-bar in the room which was advertised as one of the room's facilities. But it was not stocked and I always had to phone for drinks to fill it up. I had never been to a hotel before which did not stock its mini-bar and I found this mildly irritating. When I first arrived at the hotel I thought they had forgotten to stock up the mini-bar!

Not comfortable in reception area, bar closed, lacked lounge area also the hotel was cold.

A delightful Art Nouveau building which has been modernised so as to provide maximum comfort while retaining the feel of the Art Nouveau period. This, combined with the exceptionally helpful and friendly reception staff, ensured a pleasant and memorable stay.

The staff at reception were extremely helpful, excellent service. The breakfast was good.

The standard room we got on arrival was terrible, chipped wooden ceiling, old tv, no tea/coffee making facilities. Basic bathroom, tiny room. Very disappointing. We had to upgrade to te superior room which was much improved. The hotel itself has old charm but certainly needs freshening up.

Freundlichkeit, haus-intern absolut ruhig, elegant und stilvoll eingerichtet. Schöner gepflegter Park.

Das nach aller design-Kunst ausgestattete Badzimmer in Ehren ! Wir würden aber einen gegen das Schlafzimmer abgeschlossenen Raum bevorzugen.

Wunderbares 'bello-epoche"-Hotel an bester Lage in Meiringen. Saubere, geräumige Zimmer, feines Frühstücksbuffet, nettes Personal, nette Bar, Nachtclub und gutes Restaurant "Kristall".

Leider kein Wellness-Bereich und Gratiseintritt ins Hallenbad/Sauna war entgegen der Buchung nicht so!

L'hôtel est magnifiquement rénové et sa situation est idéale

Chambre ordinaire et salle de bain top petite et pas en très bon état(robinet qui fuit, douche pa étanche, taches de moisissures sur les joints)
