The staff at the hotel were amazing; we received four star treatment. Everyone at the front desk were extremely helpful and courteous; additionally they took the time to ask about the previous day's excursions and made suggestions for each day. The views from our room were a delight to wake up to. The facilities need upgrade. For a hotel billing itself as 4 star, the style and quality of the furniture and decorations was not up to date. Additionally, the massage room was simply a room with a table; I would have preferred a more atmospheric room with soft lighting, howevver the massage was excellent. |

All the people working there are fantastic, very pleasent and nice. The swimmingPool amazing, the food and desserts excellent. But the lake view and most of all the Water noise all the night long gives you a wonderful feeling of being in some cruise on the sea. This hotel is really cool to stay one, two or five, six days.. |

The amazing stay at Hotel du Lac began with a warm greeting and a welcome glass of juice from a courteous and kind staff. The room was clean and comfortable with more than enough close space. But the ultimate reward for staying here is right out the window-- a panoramic view of Lake Lugano! |

The friendly welcome by well trained and confident staff.Excellent food and nice pool just by the lakeside.Wonderful location. As the hotel admits ,the rooms need upgrading,decor modern TVs etc |

Air conditioned rooms would have been great since we couldn't go outdoors to use the balcony due to the mosquito's. Also, more English TV stations would have been nice in addition to one or more English newspapers. |

The view is great. The heat in the rooms is extremely unpleasant. If you open the balcony room you get devasted by mosquitos ! and when you close the door, you transform your room in a Sauna....extremely disapointing. |

Meals - very high standard of ingredients and the chef is a wizard. The staff are very helpful and eager to please and nothing is too much trouble. Matreses need replacing. |

Quiet room; good view of lake. Loud party with music in the lounge one evening. This was disturbing, as the lounge is the only place to work with internet access (WiFi). |

le personnel est trés accueillant,la cuisine de trés grande qualité,surtout pour la suisse et de trés bon prix;les chambres en direct sur le lac sont trés agréables. Il faudrait revoir le look des chambres un peu trop année 70; |

Der wunderschöne Ausblick über den See zu den Bergen. Die Nähe zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die romantische Stimmung in der Nacht mit den vielen Lichtern von Lugano. Der grosse Swimmingpoool und das ausgiebige Frühstücksbuffet. |

Direkt über dem See. Whirlpool gratis auf Anfrage, freundliches personal :) für eine ganze woche wäre es mir zu teuer gewesen, aber für einen wochenendtrip wohl mit die beste wahl |
